Okay my fellow TOTAs...time for a little culture...

I was notified by an unnamed French girl that a new movie, "La Mome" about Edith Piaf is being released in Paris on Feb. 14.

Isn't that just dandy--a biographical movie about my favorite folk singer of all time* will be released on VALENTINE'S DAY in Paris and the person who told me (who I would have loved to share it with the most) is no longer here!!!!

*-She made me love all things French many years ago when I heard "La Vie En Rose" played in the background of Karate Kid when Damnyouson had spaghetti thrown all over his tux in the banquet hall scene.

ahhhh l'amour...

Anyway, that unnamed person also sent me the following YouTube video...and I went on a shopping spree to order her "best of" album from Amazon, and I'm looking for DVDs on her; apparently the ones available on Amazon aren't well-reviewed.

The movie will be released in North America on June 8 under its international name, "La Vie En Rose"...I'll be holding my breath in anticipation.

I would love to check out that movie, all I know about Edith is that she is a legend. I want know find out more about her life.
