Broken / Breakbeat Tools

Wassup?

I'm having a hard time finding breakbeat tools.. as in vinyls with only loops to spice up some of your basic bass-bass-bass tunes.. Got any good ideas where to search from?

I've used fruity to create my own.. but there must be something for sale?

(BPM ranges 128-136) or close to that

Thanks

The Bam

There are plenty of "beats-and-breaks" vinyls (sometimes called dj tools) out there. They're extremely popular among hip-hop dj's. I have some older ones from Dj Rectangle which contain samples and drum loops from other recordings. If all else fails, hit up EBay. Everytime I search for "breaks" there, I almost always get about a half dozen or so that come in that search.

Almost every search i've done has been for "Dj-Tools" but it's always hip-hop or D&B with too much or little BPM..
But i'll try the breaks search.

Thanks man, appreciated

ps.. i vote no foe ebay

just get some loops from tracks you like. it'll be a bitch if you're only vinyl.

that's a great advantage for digital (be it CDJ or something like Serato Scratch or even Ableton), you can basically throw anything in.

but, if you have the means, consider it. chop up sections of tracks you like in an audio editor, copy it over a couple of times to make it a few bars long, and have some fun.

let's break out the calculator. let's say that a hiphop beat tool is at like 95bpm on 33. play it on 45, you have it at like 126, pitch up & down for your range then
