That fucking whistling bastard makes it hard to hear.
But no, PvD is most certainly not playing that music. First of all, he does not have that many octaves at his disposal, second of all, he's not synced with the music at all.
A great example of why I hate idiots who whistle in clubs
Also, he might be playing it, who's to say the video's audio was recorded in perfect sync with the video?

Would be better if he didn't fuck around with this shit and cut to the chase and played his own mix of it - which is excellent and something he rarely plays.
maybe the guy who whistles will leave a comment

I'd bet a fair amount of money he isn't "playing" anything more than a couple triggered loops/effects.
He is definitely not playing the melody to Binary Finary note-for-note on the keyboard.

ok, ummm
ableton has this feature that quantizes your notes that you play
so u can hit a note thats completely off beat, and ableton will automatically play the note once the beat comes.
whether hes playing the piano melody is unsure as of now
tho he bangs on the keyboard as the piano plays, so i assume hes playing the melody, of course he could just be playing nothing.
yes the video is out of sync.
this is peter lowland's remix of 1998 and pvd is probably just goofing around
it is absolutely impossible to play stuff like this on a 2 octave keyboard, because its not only piano, there is also a cello and not sure but perhaps even more instruments...

Lame, i prefer Sash or guys from Scooter who pretend to "play" two keyboards at once.
