Enigmatic Ecstasy feat. Amelia (TAs prolikewhoa)-Sound of Silence (320 kbps full)
Hey everyone! After some really annoying corruption issues i've finished a new track. This one is nice, uplifting, vocal trance featuring TAs own Amelia (prolikewhoa). So please listen and let us know what you think. Thanks guys!
Enigmatic Ecstasy feat. Amelia-Sound of Silence
hey mate
i like the buildup, very explosive
the bassline sounds cool to. i think the vocals half way are a bit to much synthesized.. they sound a bit to "robot".. the overall melody sounds good.. well done mate
nice ... cep't for the first synthy bass...it sounds a bit cheesay...overall a nice production and I don't think the voice is that much robotic as bidor said
I like the percussions
nice toying with the vocal stutters
buildup is nice but that synth sounds a bit digital to me...or something.
overall pretty good, keep it up
Amelia has a nice voice...only if you could have let it the way listeners could hear her a little bit...
or she got out of tune so much, that you felt the need to cover it?
Hey guys. Thanks a lot for taking the time to listen. I appreciate it. The vocals are actually exactly the same both times. The second time i guess they are just more covered up so they dont sound so "robotic". The stutters are in there to fix some length issues on a couple notes, i thought it would be more fun to do stutters than timestretching. And other than that i just put some autotune on the vocals to make sure everything was dead on since she had a cold when she recorded it. So that is definitely amelia. Not sure what you mean by the synth sounding "digital" but i think its probably an envelope issue that i never could figure out. I tried and it just never got to be exactly what i wanted. Anyways, thanks for listening and for your comments. They are much appreciated.
cheesy as fuck man. that bass is so damn commercial. you've improved on your eqing skills though which helps the track move well.
the voice sounds a bit like a commercial track i heard a few years back.
who wrote the vocals? she was supposed to sing my vocals but never got back to me
anyway nice for a commerical track not my cup of tea but well done all the same.
Hey man! Thanks for listening. Amelia wrote the vocals by the way. If you yell at her she may do some for you. What track did the vocals remind you of?
cant remember the track/ it also has a bit of delerium - after all in it. i dont no i like her voice though thats why i asked her to sing my vocals. if your talking to you tell her to get back to me
will do

I like the melody, uplifting and driving! You have to work alot more with the vocals though, cant hear any word at all
. But keep it up!

Not the lyrics, no. But you really have done a good job anyway, its not easy to work with vocals.
Sounds pretty amateur to me. The bassline is weak overall, and in the beginning it's just odd. Some of the percussion felt awkward and the random jet effects thrown in felt forced. Also, it feels like it needs to be pitched up a bit.
The little breakbeat part around the 4 minute part is decent though, and the buildup to the weak breakdown thereafter was okay. In fact, that was about the best part of the track. Lay off the epic snare rolls that go nowhere. There were about three or four of them in this track
Keep at it though. You have talent, you just need a fair amount of fine tuning.
I liked it a lot, but I do agree that the bass is a bit commercial. Also... maybe boost up the vocals.
listening...
i agree with the bass sounding chessey lol...
also i dont think the kick sits so well in the mix...too dominating in a bad way...
the vocal stuttering is kinda awkward. cant really here the voice while the other synths are playing either.
mixing and eq needs to be worked on...the drum programming is rather bland. could use some eq or somthing to make different elements cut through and sit in the spectrum.
also, could be a lot more varitation, you just have one thing mainly playing, with the same elements coming in and out.
you are def on the right track tho, someone said it before, you've got the skill, just need to perfect it.
