LUKE FAIR in London, UK Fri 2nd Mar

Shoreditch, London, UK. Friday 2nd March

Luke Fair has been one of the "fastest growing" DJs of the past few years...not in size but in stature. From hosting residencies across Canada he was plucked by John Digweed to work under the Bedrock banner and was one of the first artists to mix a Bedrock "Original Series" Mix CD. Luke has just signed to Sasha's Excession agency and will complete one of the next in the highly rated series of Balance CDs.

The venue for this event is under-wraps for now and we can promise you wont be disappointed.

Entry is on a STRICTLY guest-list only basis...with advance guest-list available for 8pounds. Paying guestlist on the night is 10pounds...but pls be advised that advance guestlist will obviously take priority.

Go to myspace.com/beatfreakmusic or mail [email protected] for details on how to purchase advance guestlist. Numbers are limited

The infamous Bete-Noir will be hosting room 2 and bringing all things bleepy & electronic fresh from nights at Turnmills, and the Issst NYE bash

Other DJs on the night include Kevin Casey the TA tag team of Warren Mooney & Sarah Rodin aswell as the excellent Andy Newland

Luke Fair is awesome.

Funny how little support he gets in his home city, while abroad it's the complete opposite.

There..... who's starting the roll call for this?

Luke Fair rules. Definately in my top 10. I don't know why no one supports him in TO either. Such a talented DJ, enjoyed every set I've seen/heard by him.

Oh he's got alot of supporters...and a good share of em came out to see him last friday for a private event. I was one of these. Love Luke!

I find it funny that this posted in TOTA though...for an overseas event? Ah well....go Luke!

It was really kept on the downlow/invite only event. Besides, you're all the way in Alberta right now! (Can't wait to rock it out with you for Entrenna though. Sketchy bday fest for us both. )

Why do you think this? lol I'd say his fan base here is pretty big actually. It's difficult to tell as he's rarely playing gigs here. (from what I've been told HIS decision)

AND... for the record, ONE gig in shoreditch does not mean you've hit the bigtime. He's hardly the European juggernaut you're making him out to be.

We love him here!

If it was a week later I'd go in a heartbeat. I get back the 10th.

um... actually luke has LOADS of fans in Toronto.

do you not remember his nights at System? tonnes of Luke Fair groupies came out to see him there.

the night he played at This Is London was probably one of our 10 busiest nights.

I used to do Wednesday @ Element. the night we had Luke was our 2nd busiest night in an almost 1 year run. and we were always busy.

He just played last weekend in Toronto. they sold out the night in advance. granted it was a small venue, but cover was steep.

anyways, i go check him almost every time he does play here, I assure you, he gets lots of love from Toronto. He just doesn't play here enough, but that's because he's contstantly travelling the world.

I'd say it's a good decision. prevents over saturation, and keeps demand up.

+1

He doesn't have to compete with locals for gigs. He's past that stage and needs to concentrate on getting more int'l bookings.

We are so spoiled in Toronto
