Rukes.com t-shirts
So I hope to have rukes.com T-shirts before WMC, but wanted to get opinions from everyone.
What should the design be? Just thinking of the rukes.com logo on a black shirt...front and back, or just front and something else on the back? Any ideas?
Also, anyone have ideas of a good place to do it? Was thinking cafepress, so you can get more than just shirts, although I know thier shirts aren't the greatest quality...anyone have other suggestions?
Just rukes.com on the front, and either something else on the back (don't know what), or just nothing on the back.
I know of a good company in Beverly Hills that does shirts, and he will give you a good deal if you tell him you know me. It's just a few blocks from your house. I'll give you info later if you're interested.
I want one when you are done making them!
have it say Rukes.com on the front,
and on the back have a cute little bunny with his guts falling out.
rukes.com on the front and my avatar on the back.
I want one too!
Rukes I'll support ya! I'm not very creative so I cant give ya any tips on design but I'll get one
I thought this was a done deal...we discussed this last night -
Got Rukes?
RUKES.COM on front, and smaller in the back right bellow the collar.

Got Rukes.com on the front and one the back a picture of one of those old flashes that people would have to hold up with their hands while taking the photo!
Old Skizool baby
that idea with the old flash is pretty awesome. A good shirt shop should charge about $20-25 for a 1 color setup fee, and each print should be under $2. In total it should cost you about $5 per shirt, not including that initial fee. Some of them let you bring in your own screens, then it gets even cheaper. Local companies are the best, because you can hastle them about making it perfect... and there are a LOT of them.

people that u want to see the domain are usually going to be behind you or when they walk past you. so if you have something catchy on the front then they'll most likely look back as they past you seeing the rukes.com which will then be branded into their tiny skulls. maybe something scandalous about taking ur pic.
I agree...
rukes.com on the front, all lower case.
maybe a simple little logo (like the flash idea) on the back near the to in the center. If no simple logo, then nothing.
Don't make the sure white or black. Maybe like a dark brown or dark blue.
rukes.com on the front is fine, IMO. People are going to look at your powerful camera and concentrate on it a bit and look at you and see the domain. People who you take pics of are right in front of you and will obviously see the domain.

navy blue t-shirt!
couldnt recommend any designs but what about American Apparel tees?
i like my t-shirts a lil more fitted & AA seems to do the best for the least

Just a start

make it say "iim, into photografy" !
I think I am going to go with Randy's plan, doing "got rukes?" on the front in the "got milk?" font, then the rukes.com logo on the back.
I think I might go with cafepress, unless anyone has another suggestion for a good site people can order shirts from themselves.
thats right bitches!!!
I still think that an old school flash would be a sick logo for your shirt and anything else you wanted to brand.
Maybe have a camera and flash taking a pitcure of your URL.

I REALLY think "Got ..." is way too cliche at this point. It's just not funny or clever. seriously "rukes." is an off-kilter enough word that it can generate curiosity in itself. the a web address on the back or under 'rukes' in a smaller font.
The logo IS rukes.com though, so it would be rukes.com on the back and front...thats the problem
This is my idea for my hand-out card...the rukes.com logo on the front (bottom, so you guys know what the logo is), and the CL TAO pic on the back. Any opinions on this too?
