Wicked!!!! just got home ..and Above and Beyond just finished now hehei was sober all night (as i was for the past year now) and i was jamming like theres no tomorrow

Guvernment was friggin PACKED.. beyond belief ... and really hot inside....do they not use the nitrogen anymore? or did i miss it .. Overall ... awesome time .. great tunes! some favourites:

Gabriel and Dresden - Dangerous Power
2 Divine feat Cara Dillon - Black is the colour..(they played it last year too haha)
Above and Beyond - Can't sleep
Above and Beyond - Good for me
Cassandra Fox - Touch me

i missed a bunch of the set becaus i was with people that were into hip hop :| umm yea i know haha but i was in the main room as much as possible

As far as the other rooms go.... Sydney blu destroyed the Gallery... WOW i havent danced that hard in a LONG time ... Carlo did an awesome job too! didnt really get to hear a lot of it though... i was only in there for like half an hour ..

Didnt get to see Manzone and Strong in the Drink... but im sure they kicked ass like usual... i ended up walking thru there near 3:30 on my way out and noticed the Drink looks Very nice after the remodelling.. anyways!!! ..

Post pictures people..

I was planning for the longest time to take my camera and take some solid videos... like i did last year... charged the camera .. and forgot it lol... so i hope someone took care of the videos and good pics I'm off to bed .. getting pretty tired!

Oh .. and Peter!!!(Coxx) Happy birthday man!! i dunno how i missed you in there... maybe cuz it was so packed but hope u had fun !

another night at the Guv saved by Miss Blu! didnt get a chance to go check the drink out, so dont know how it was there, but main room was a disaster! I could only handle it for about 25 minutes. It was great running into so many familiar faces, but I know I missed a lot of you. sorry guys!

ps: I'm still glad I went to the guv. I really needed a break from studying

Just came back...I left towards the end of the set...gotta be honest was not feeling it tonight. I was figuring they would play hard...and damnit they did...I wanted to be uplifted, if anyone could do it, it would be these guys. Though they did connect very well with the crowd, but I think the crowd had no idea who was up there tonight. My conclusion is North Americans like hard sets...sad but true, but when the place gets uplifted, it is magic beyond words...I'd like to see it more.

Now the only song that I care to even ID I don't know what it is, cause it has never been played before. I was told it was untitled - untitled...cheezy ha ha...it was the song before Good for Me(club mix) if ANYONE knows what it is called I would love to know cause it friggin blew my mind, at that moment everything came together for me for just a little while, but it was too late to save the set.

Anyways it was great to see Jer(you are friggin awsome dude), Jenn, KAT!(you are so much cooler in person), wonderful to meet 8 Wonders(Arnie) was so cool to hear your track get played when we were talkin. Tom and Sonia as always a pleasure to see you again, hope you both got home safe. It was cool for Paavo and I to connect when he threw back down the Union Jack, we saluted eachother, very cool moment....with the exception of my friends have people in this club gone silly? I mean all it was, was people walking from place to place, they weren't even standing in one spot, dancing around and enjoying the music, it was hard for me to dance at points and we were all annoyed.

Well I hope everyone had fun tonight, at least this time it paid big time to be in the guest list line. Till next time...

I need to know the name of the song that they played AFTER

Energy52 - Cafe Del Mar

RIGHT NOW that fuckin tune was massive

p.s. the song was very uplifting and had old school feel to it with piano in the main melody.Hope this can help

Very soso, that's all I can say. Very uncreative IMO, set had no real climax. Typical stupid crowd at Guv but like A&B, what I expected.

Tune of the night: Randy Katana-In Silence

they were great , but I liked their set last time better, last year was more hands in the air for 30 min at a time kind of thing, while your mind is flying somewhere else lol, the set they played tonight/or this morning was a bit harder then I expected it to be. But it was still amazing

Was NOT feeling their set at all tonight. Compared to when I saw then at PACHA in NYC Dec.1, this was absolutely horrible. Was way too hard for my liking, it almost seemed like they were trying to be like SvD. They put in a couple good tracks here and there, but it was too little too late. The only thing I'm happy about is hearing Home at the end. Above & Beyond, I love you guys but you really disappointed me tonight.

The crowd that night was A LOT worse than I thought it would be. It seemed that wherever I moved to, people would pass by behind or infront of me. I felt like some sort of pathway beacon or some shit. People need to fucking PICK ONE SPOT and dance.

Mark Oliver's set afterwards was good, really hard and dirty.
Other than seeing a bunch of friends and hearing Home, it sucked.

I loved it, it was phenomenal...now to get some sleep before i go to work

A lot of nice tracks were played, by MO and A&B, but A&B's set at Toronto last year was a lot better IMO, it was amazing how that start off with a slow version of air for life then jumped to the main part.

And it seems like MO loves to close with the same tracks, Traffic, murder was the base, u know what, just kick, red blue purple.

Above and Beyond, from the times i went, it was crazy. loved it. but i was stuck in the drink.. i couldnt leave. thank you to joe for playing jump around (micky slims)- House of Pain for me. much appreciated. honey dijon- absolutely impressed. her beats were hard, non stop... awesome. the drink also looks very nice. i like it better than before. i was planning on taking video, but got tired and lazy so i ended up taking 250 pics lol. somethings def wrong with my cam... my pics are grainy and crap... good looking crowd in the drink. mind the graininess but here are some of my fav pics i took

I have report that Ayu - M (A+B Typhoon dub) was played. Anyone confirm?

Also, that in general, A+B played a bit old school A+B (less cheesy vocals, more techy trance). Confirm?

If this is true, I may have to give them a chance next time...

Yeah they did play more Techy Trance, very little of that fluffy stuff so it didn't even fit into the set when they did play it

If they played this AND Cafe Del Mar holy oldschool. Too bad they didn't play as expected...Docks was fun but only b/c of the tunes I heard in the TA sideroom.
