Okay, I was talking about Booka Shade, havn't heard too many minimal tracks from them.

Sexymodr did the MANDY/Booka lil shindig last year. One year later, and it's a megaclub affair and agents blunder... Regardless both shows should be good fun.

I'm quite bummed that I'm missing BOTH Booka Shade and Justice (sniff sniff), but they landed on the same weekend as my spring break trip. I'm not exactly sure what kind of music to call Booka Shade except "Good," but certainly not minimal.

Only thing left to do is win the lottery so I can afford to fly down to LA for Danny Howells (weekend after I get back from the trip).

Although I hate labeling artists, I think it's safest to say they are Electro / Electro House, with an occasional techy influence. Not your M_Nus Minimal for sure. Sometimes they do drop minimal in their sets though.

that's part of why I choose to just label a lot of artists/dj's genre as "good" and leave it at that. cause even with your description, something like Night Falls (for instance) is certainly not electro, not minimal, not really downtempo, not progressive, just good.
