diets

Subway diet, Atkins Diet, etc etc...
Whats your take on them and why?
Have you ever dieted?
Will you ever diet?

I'm tired of hearing about all these bullshit "miracle" diets everywhere. "LOSE 100LBS IN 10 WEEKS!" If you can lift a double quarter pounder to your mouth along with fries and a large drink, you can get off your fat, cottage cheese cellulite ass and DO SOME EXERCISE.

That and skinny/toothpick like women are not attractive. A woman should have curves and some meat on her. Wtf are you supposed to hold onto when you're fucking a tothpick?

Love the Ace Ventura avatar.

I've tried Atkins. Gave up after one or two meals. Always wanted to try South Beach.

Either way, I'm 10-15 lbs. under the average weight for my age + height bracket.

Why on earth would you wanna diet?

I'm on the REAL South Beach Diet. Nothing but a balanced meal of vodka, cocaine, and the occasional cracker & cheese plate.

Not so much a weight-loss diet.

Something that's healthier than the current slop that I eat, though. You know?

my doc always recommends the sugarbuster diet.. never tried it.. i should though.

cigarettes and coffee :/

switching from normal juice concentrate to diet juice concentrate stopped me from growing fatter and heavier, with no excercise i stay where i am, if i wish to drop some weight, excercise does the trick.

p.s. it's because i drink a lot (8+ liters a day) and eat little (one big meal a day, sometimes a snack in the middle of the day)

Everbody knows that the trick to lose weight on these diets, is to get aid(e)s.

drugs is the best option for a diet.

I 'diet' (in so much its basically all I eat) just to keep my weight stable and healthy physically, just means I don't eat highly processed junk basically and very little sugar. Lots of vegetables, rice and meat, fair bit of milk, juice and vitamin supplements.

Posted by Slylee on Feb-13-2007 15:34:

diets are actually not good for you. your body needs a little bit of everything so you should eat a variety of foods, (including carbs) in moderation.

that's my take on it.

Actually, it's the opinion of the majority of medical professionals in this country

Going on a short term diet for targetted weight loss diet only leads to yoyo weight loss.

Keep a balanced eating plan and exercise

people are obsessed with quick-fix diets
if they dont get instant results, they throw a hissy fit and go on a celery binge or some stupid shit

Thank god, thought I'd said something out of order with my usual lack of tact.

Biggest thing to remember with diets is to match them to your daily physical activity, work harder physically and you'll need to eat more starches, sugars and carbohydrates. If you're just sitting on your bum all day doing very little in an office 8hours a day you're not going to need anywhere near the amount of food to keep yourself with some kind of healthy shape.

I will never have to diet in my life ever...my metabolism is ridiculously high...I'm hungry all the time.
