Just finished work, had to report the best night out out of best nights out ever.ever.
Line up:
Nigel Clarke (thought he was gonna be shite, but in actual fact he's superb)
JFK - Can't mix, but he played some nice tunes
Guy Ornadel - Anyone who doesn't like Southern Sun hasn't heard it live 
M.I.K.E - Chakra - Home (Above + Beyond mix), tore the place down
DuMonde - Played the best set I have ever heard, live or or mp3. They absolutely rule, track selection was pure quality, crowd interaction was superb (see below ) and the MIXING...well...
Near the end of M.I.K.E's set I decided to try and blag it into the VIP bit to chat to dumonde, unfortunately I was accosted by De Leon asking me where I got my T-shirt from 
, told him I did it myself, he said it was cool, and we went into the little VIP bit, got a free drink, and chatted to De Leon whilst M.I.K.E was mixing and Jam X was sorting the vinyl out. Ste I asked them hether they remembered you and they said no , but they remembered me from last time at frisky cos I was singing along to Memory 
Jam X came over to say hello, and I spilt my bottle of becks over his top, thought I was gonna get a smack in the mouth, but instead he got the photographer and got a couple of photo's of us 3
I was a bit surprised in that one ^^ cos I'd just fallen down a small step
This ones better, not surprised anymore, but the beers taken it's toll and I look fooked.
Anyways it was time for Dumonde to come on and Andy asked me to leave, so I went and got the boys, and had a damn good stomp for 3/4 of an hour.
My mate Jon went to go have a chat with Andy the promoter, so I took the opportunity to try and get in the DJ booth again, low and behold I find myself chatting to Jam X just as De Leon drops Rank 1 - Awakening (Cosmic Gate mix). Andy asked Jam x to sign my t-shirt, but he said "no I've got something better" and gets HIS VERSION of Can you dig it, fresh from the decks, sign it and give it to me
Andy tells me I've got to leave now yet again, and the Awakening is really kicking in, and as Calla can tell you the Bass at Frisky is painfully loud, and the track they mix in next sounds familiar, but it's not until the turn the bass off and the treble up that I realised they'd dropped the tune of the year so far....Signum - Second Wave...the place erupted...one of the best moments in the history of good moments ever.

Ps on a downer, some lass was copping a feel, lifted up my shirt and started lickign my chest, moved her tongue down and BIT my fucking belly button, I wasn't a happy chappy 
wheres my picture of me in the dj box at crasher dumonde when i need it? hehehe

hmm, i think ill have to get into this DJ hounding malarky, never done it before, apart from the time i met the manager of overdose records and Sir. Scot of Projectville, my mates were talking to him and they were telling him about me being a masive SP fan and he sed that he'd like to meet me so then one of my mates collected me from the gods kitchen stage where i was sat, then i released a bit of pre-cum when i saw who my mate wanted me to meet. i wanted to kiss him, but i didnt think the little dreadlock's dude would approve . the first thing he sed to me was "its such an honour to meet fans like you who really do apreciate my music", at that pointi was rather confused as to who should be likking whose arse!! , but he has got to be the nicest DJ ive ever met, proper down to earth guy, and i was talking to him for about 30 minutes.... so its not as if he was trying to get away from cos he was making conversation too..... which made me happy cos it was like i had met my favourite DJ (hoo i'd waited soo long to see) and he was a terribly nice bloke hoo valued me as a fan.
ahhhh.. end of story
glad you had a gud un brucey, i havnt had a night like that for agez.. a night where you can just dance all night, the pills are good, all your friends r there and you know everyone and every tune that comes on makes you leek a bit of wee!.
Thats why im having 3 weeks off, didnt do crasher last week this week and im not going next week, not out til NEC cos all the drugs and that week after week gets to you after a while and im fed up being depressed ALL THE TIME! so im hoping when i go to the NEC cos ive had no drugs, my body will be fairly clean so my drugs will werk better and ill have one of those nights what i was just talking about.
p.s. no funny bastards saying that you shouldnt need drugs to enjoy the night, ahhfankyoo!!! 
My claim to fame is i met sander kleinenberg during max graham's march 15th set (sander played 1-4 and max from 4-6). Oh well.....i'm waiting until one of the uk lot gets chinned by a deejay....probably jules and probably ste will get chinned.

Ferry wouldn't chin anyone, he wouldn't be able to reach , (he's another one on my list of DJ hounding). Jules would definately chin ste, I reckon that Guy Ornadel is capable of chinning ste, he was fairly rude to me on my 18th.

hahaha that bird sounds like a right nutter she bit your belly button hahaha, sorry to laugh but it seems crazy, if you scan the pics on the frisky site you'll probably be able to she her, cos all the nutbags in there pester the photographer bloke who in turn takes 20 pictures of them.
good to hear you had a good night, and Andy lobbed you out of the VIP area? its really silly how they do that I've chatted to Andy quite a lot and he seems like an alright person, but the VIP bunch look like a right group of posers, isn't really much of a VIP area anyway just a couple of couches overlooking the dance floor.
Its good that the place had an atmosphere on that night, I still think the night should move venues, if it was held at the roadmender it would have a better atmosphere, or the best venue in Northampton the guildhall and many wicked nights in there, I still want to know why they insist they hold it at Legends because it still comes across to me that their not out to make themselves a massive profit or anything like its a party for the promotors friends and a couple of ramdom people can tag along if they please, the night is cheap aswell thats a good thing, but the venue is horrible its like I've seen no ends of DJs there at nights put on at the Guildhall packed the place out, at Scott Bond @ Sweat @ The guildhall the place was packed around 2000 people, when I went to watch Scott Bond at frisky there was around 250 people in the club and no atmosphere, and I've lost count how many nights have been like this there, but its one of them mysteries I know will remain unanswered.

my fondest memory is casually chattin with my mate ashley (casselle) in the bogs... or was it droppin a lil one with mauro..? undecided..
also, if northern monkey ever plays a club near you, go and talk to him... he might play a lot of music i dont like but hes a rite sound bloke!
and my aim in life is to chin ferry (not to be chinned) coz hes a wankah.
