Funny how he sounds like a MadTV parody of a rapper instead of a real rapper. The way he says "Mike Jones!" sounds stupid and annoying. His laugh reminds me of The Count from sesame street.

A funny writer noted something i have never thought about until now. He mentioned that rappers can get away with writing songs with their names as the chorus of their songs, but everyone else can't. Imagine a Tiesto song that goes like this " .... *drum beat* *drum beat* Tiessssttoooooooo *drum beat* *drum beat*"

It seems like every day I'm reminded of why hip hop is truly dead.

Not a big fan of rap but I always thought rap was just in a slump and would come back to prominence soon enough. However it just seems that it continues to get worse and worse. Look at something like The Chronic...revolutionary rap album, can't think of many that have been anywhere near that since.

I'm sure theres decent rap out there just not in the mainstream but I'm really not into rap so I haven't explored that. The mainstream or popular rap though has virtually nothing to show for itself today.
