Review - Jelo, Reckless Girl, Jermz @ Lan Saang Lounge

My first review

I happened to be in Cambridge over the weekend visiting some relatives and decided to head out to this night with a friend of mine who isnt really into electronic music.

I caught the tail end of Jermz set which sounded quite good. Then I see Jelo come on. Head bopping, jumping wildly playing hard pounding beats. At first I was really into it but after a while the novelty of hard boom boom boom got really stale. There were some minor mistakes I noticed but not the end of the world. By the end of Jelo's set I had consumed quite a bit of beer. Lets just say that the night started getting better. Reckless Girl came on and played really well. Fun happy vocal electro house. I was tearing up that dancefloor as though it was my lastnight of dancing. She played Beta Boy by Trentemoller which was really great to hear. I discovered that track on Digweed's myspace from his video in Buenos Aires.

I was really impressed with the space. It was a small intimate little lounge with a great seating area for my friend who sat for most of the night, some lovely ladies and many friendly people.

10/10. Great night at Cambridge

I also attended. I have never been out in Cambridge, but I have to say that that was an ok venue. Nothing special but enough room to dance.

Wow does Cambridge love Jelo. I arrived with him and witnessed so many girls try to throw themselves on him. The guys were loving his energy, and everyone seemed like they had a blast. I do agree, there were some mistakes but nothing to cry over

RecklessGirl was amazing. That girl seriously has some talent. That was my first time hearing her, and I have to say that I like her style. She started with the vocal electro and got a little more dirty near the end of her set. Nicely done

Overall I had a blast and so did my company...
Richard- We have to party again some time...lol...you're a trooper

Will definitely go again 9/10

I had a great time..too bad not many people saw jace and i play. jelo was good. great tracks for sure. always love seeing the energy josh has. mistakes werent that major. just jelo being crazy. not many can do what he can do. and the production he does is quite decent

maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan what a night! i got my ass kicked LARGE! i still cant believe it. if it wasnt for you & reckles girl i dont know what would have happend

it really was a great night i have to say. and yes you are right, reckless girl was amazing! she was on fire.

oh man i cant do comfort zone. for all the years ive partied i can proudly say i never partied there once. ill wait till another out of town gig. its better that way

Damn you guys, that was quite wild indeed!

I had an awesome time! Definitely one of my favorite parties to date. I love the tri-city "ravers" lol. I always have a great time be it Lan Saang or the Purple Room.
