Sonic - Fact or Rumour?

I love Sonic and will be there to hear Cajjmere and Peter tomorrow night. However, I noticed a few things and wanted to know if anyone has the true, factual answers.

Facts:
- no March bookings announced at Sonic
- Stephan Grondin has a TBC for March 2 @ Sonic on his myspace page, however he is confirmed for Fly on April 28, despite the fact that he has a bi-monthly residency at Sonic
- Chus & Ceballos are playing at the Docks when they are Sonic residents and PACK the place

Rumour:
- Do all these facts mean Sonic is a fading echo?

I heard this time it's true. My friend who's the head bartender there told me that his manager told him that they're building condos there at the end of the year. LOL2007 will be their last party.

I love SONIC and don't want to believe any speculations about it possibly shutting down. I'm sure some great talent is coming our way at SONIC.

I hope the club stays open for a long time. Just because it's not as big as the GUV doesn't mean it won't last. Size does not matter in this situation.

well all the guv closing rumors were basically based on nothing, just pure speculation

but with morales leaving the club and "residents" playing elsewhere in the city i can see why it would at least raise some eyebrows

As far as I know, this "fact" is not correct! I think Stephan has played twice on a Saturday night, and once at a Friday night "Open" event. That's hardly a "bi-monthly" residency!

Money matters and from what I've heard the club is losing their shirts in that space and owe a whack load of money to gangsters.
