Re: Owner of a Lonely Heart - Yes (and Genesis) were top prog rock bands of the 70s, kinda like Sasha and Digweed of EDM today. Yes went commercial big time with Owner of a Lonely Heart, their worse song ever, imo

That said, Max Graham was excellent at Resolution, and I'll be at Heaven next Friday to see the man spin. Dope.

- a good example of when a prepared interviewer and an open and frank dj combine to make a very good, nicely flowing read. Good stuff.

The vid wasn't bad either.. bikinis and cowboy boots

"Silicone Valley" eh? If government officials were spending our tax dollars on plastic surgery, they certainly don't look much the better for it...

and I thought Canada's Silicon Valley was the Kitchener/Waterloo/Guelph triangle?

I am there 100%...
looking forward to hear Jeff new productions... didnt find time to stop by the studio yet

I will never get enough of Sultan sounds... (2 hours thats it?)

and i am curious to see Mr Graham... pumped from his show in Ottawa and do a performance with ableton (I assume he will, want to see how creative he is using it)

+ I really enjoy most of Max work as producer, nice to read in newsletter from IMD he is co-producing a downtempo album with Jessica Jacobs.

So I got there at 315am-ish; crowd was coming together slowly but nicely...Jeff Fontaine played a cool set, Sultan came on and did an incredible job as usual, lots of new and fresh tracks, you know, the stuff that makes you go, "shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit that's badass"...He rocked the crowd proper, track of the NIGHT was played out by the Sultan himself: Damian Strong - Love Shop...My Gawwwwwwdddddddd this track gets me all teary-eyed and stuff hehehe, kinda track that moves your inner soul, seriously. Max came on around 6am playing a strict Ableton set, and I wasn't totally digging the sound at first but it got better, more to my liking, harder basslines etc...Fatigue took over at 715am at which point I exited the party and entered sleep mode at home...Overall all all though, the night was wierd, had a bizarre feel to it in general. Maybe it was just me, I dunno. Nice seeing some faces out: Vlad, Selma, licks, uhhhh yeah Maher, hmmmm...some of my non-TA friends came out to support Sultan (much appreciated by the way ) Yeah, met some really cool people Saturday night as well as some not so cool ones lol...Anyways, Alex fuck you for choking, Julius you too... That's it I guess...Peace in the middle east!!!!!!!!!!
