Pans Labyrinth = AWFUL

I saw this last Saturday, I was just sitting there the whole time thinking to myself WTF in between falling asleep (Ok not really but close).

I dont want to ruin anything for those of you who choose to waste 2+ hours of your life wishing you'd just stayed at home and watched cops instead, but jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeebus this is a bad bad movie.

The only redeeming factor is the scenery I spose, but fok that's really not enough to impress even me who is by no means a movie expert or guru.

On top of it all it's just, brutally violent, fairies even get their heads bitten off! NOT THE FAIRIES!!!!!

And the only reason I went to see it in the first place is cause my friend ASSURED me there were nazis in it, I was shocked to discover that the Nazis were in fact, SPANISH Nazis... WTF LAME.

I am of course, NOT A NAZI, but I am a firm believer that all movies that feature Nazis becomes quite good IE: Casablanca/Indiana Jones series just to name a few.



In conclusion, PAN'S LABYRINTH SUCKS!!!

I just came back from Children of Men, it was an awesome movie.

I'll check out Pan's Labyrinth though, it got some good reviews in general.

Children of Men was an amazing movie, loved every minute of it. Just saw Smokin' Aces tonight, which was 'ok', but nothing special.

Pan's Labyrinth is amazing and everyone i know says the same. No time to get into details now but haha, there will be time, just one thing, movies that realistically portray Nazis are generally violent

pans labyrinth was 10 time better than children of the man in my opinion!!!

pssst i do too... i think the idea was great but... the actual movie sucks

I thought Pan's Labyrinth was pretty good. The story structure was very well done.

300 looks very pretty...that's about it. I'm sure it'll suck beyond that.

dude, sorry but you completely missed the setting

they're not spanish nazis, this was set in the middle of the spanish civil war

i saw the movie and loved it, maybe you didnt get the ending either cause i think its amazing how everything comes together.

I didnt completely miss the setting, I know what the historical setting was, the nazi thing stems from a joke with the buddies I went to see the movie with, since they assured me it was full of "Nazis"

I got the ending, I didnt think it was amazing, this movie just goes to show that they can add random fictional characters, a bad guy, and a cute kid detached from reality and everyone eats it up.
