yeah! pre-ordered this puppy a month ago, and hoping EB has it in stock before the official aussie release date (thursday). cant wait!

Its Amazing

Was playing it last night, very good and very in depth, takes ages to do a mission and keeps you engrossed

Buying it when it comes out tomorrow.

well i have a cracked copy to install tnite!! so now i wont have to wait the two days til my ordered copy arrives! the only thing that shits me now is its still 3+ hours til i finish work

lol. i dont have the net at home currently so the owning shall have to wait. and yeah, this is a game that im easily happy to admit i really do suck at! too much to think of!

This game (and the soon to be released in the US Armed Assualt) are the reasons I'm upgrading my comp.

But yea, I been playing the demo non-stop. Can't wait to play some giant ass maps.

i wish my comp could handle it...i was gonna upgrade a little while back...but ended up not doing it....maybe sometime soon.

hopefully ill be able to play this game at some point in the near future, it looks interesting but i wasn't a huge fan of total annihilation, i preferred dark reign at the time

How good will a Core2duo e6300 @ 2.8 with 2GB ram, 7900 gs do on a Widescreen?

sweet, I just downloaded the demo to scope this baby out. I loved dark reign back in the day. Never got into total annihilation, but they look similar anyhow. Ive been waiting for a good rts. I was thinking just the other day to get Company of heroes, im not sure now. I can only get one game at a time because I dont have enough time to take on anymore...

Dark Reign was the total shit back in the day! The original of course...I wasnt much of a fan for the sequel. Total Annihilation was kickass too, but I wasnt very good at it. Company of Heroes I hear is outstanding, so picking between it and Supreme is a near-impossible choice.

Company of Heroes is pretty good, but I think Supreme Commander will have more lasting appeal.

Finally installing this game... took longer to get than I thought it would.

Cant get enough of this game. You guys should check out this mod for the demo, allows for you to play all the factions and a few of the maps

Played what seemed like a 2hour game only to lose.

The game has a fairly steep learning curve, but the massive battles and endless strategy is worth sticking with it

I've found that it's pretty difficult to make a comeback once you start to lose.

if your playing against the AI, best focus on ure economy and do light raids to keep em off balance. Ie take out his remote mass extractors.

my fave tactic is to fortify a forward base and pound his base with emplaced artillery & tactical missiles

Yes that works very well. Unfortunately it's easy to defend against that.

I end up just building massive walls, then behind that entrenched defenses... and lots of AAA behind that.

Airlifting your units to forward areas works well after that.

Oh and lots of radar, sonars seem glitchy as fuck though, I get like 20-30 pings on it and then it turns out to be one lone destroyer...
