Review: The What What Chitty Boom Busted Zone Review

In true zone fashion today was a complete disaster, in the best possible way.

Lots of good friends enjoying the company of hundreds of the city's finest ladies and gentlemen entertaining themselves in the noblest of fashions with such activities as the one foot hand up hop down, the "ohhhhhh" double fist wave and the bouncity bop march step.

Personal highlights of the day...

Pelvic Thrusting to the point of hurting testicles with Frank...
Laura and Frase showing up after being written off completely...
The skeleton outfit...
The "very attractive" transvestite...
Nada vs. Pat The Sequel...
Jon arriving just in time to miss the party...
Mickey Antenna rocking the mainroom...
This weeks MVP Frase...
Graham going you guys smell like carpet...
Doing the world of zone world tour with stops in all rooms except juice bar number 6.

Nathan and Carlo started things off very well, a good opening set, Deko-ze I thought was a bit all over the place but had moments of brilliance, Mickey Antenna was doing quite well, even as the non-tribal fan that I am I was quite enjoying it, he had that room pumping as good as I've ever seen it go.

Andrea's first time was a major success, upwards and onwards, Here's to friends!

Entrena is a machine. I can't imagine any other venue being more suited for his badass mofu tunes. The energy in the room for his set was lasting and intense, and it was clear that he was totally into the set and feeling right at home...

All and all, a wild Sunday afternoon with great friends ... (the one-and-only) yve, graham, ryan, jon jon, shanny, spitty, danni, katy, larissa, nada, cribby, jen, lisa, tristan, sarah, rachel, tristan2, michael, sara, nav, sam, tony, karolina, cuzo...

Can't wait til' next time...

P.S. I should also mention that the TA grlz TOTALLY dominated the front of the room. No wonder Eric seemed so inspired...

as much as I loved Entrena's set Vinyljunkies are hands down the heroes of the night for me, it was my first time seeing the and HOLY CRAP!!! Kudos to you guys for delivering an extra long, extra filthy set to replace Louis.

On a ridiculous personal note, I simply don't like him. haha This sounds totally out of line, but I can almost sense this boastful swagger about him that makes me think he's an asshole. I don't even know the guy, I don't know what I'm going on about, just a very strange gut feeling (that I also had when Steve Angello played Boa)...

These guys totally picked up where tribal man left off and took it to another level. Techy, evil, and always driving. I was on my way out the door for a quick sneak out when the tunes pulled me back in (think Pacino in Godfather 3), to which I ended up staying till 7pm, Jenn I looked for you, to no avail.

OH ZONE I NEEDED A FIX AND YOU DELIVERED!

I don't know who says the zone has the best music in the city...I guess people whose judgement is impaired in some way...

anyhow, not sure how I ended up there, but it was interesting that's for sure.

lol yes, only at the zone would a 7 hour delayed arrival be considered "fashionably late"! haha

In Zone time 7 hours actually equals 1 hour, its like reverse dog years.

Mindwarp, Dogs Djing at the zone, that would be unreal, like the dogs playing cards, but djing instead.
