The biggest and best Indian casino in So Cal is Pechanga. It's about 90 miles southeast of LA.

Best Socal Casino's: no order
Commerce
Morongo
Chumash

I use to go there every night with my ex-bf. I would sit at the 1-2 table and just play and shoot the breeze. I like it better than Hawaiian.. that's just ghetto city!

Morongo is nice but the poker fucking sucks there. Commerce is okay but sometimes i get a weird vibe in there.

Thing i love about the bike is the people. good poker players, nice people, floormen are nice, and overall the vibe is good. also free food!! i play the 300-500 NL so come play with me people lol

a couple friends and i used to ditch school and go to bicycle. at that time, they never even carded us.. we were only 18. we used to go to chumash when they only had 6 blackjack tables. just like all the others like bicycle and hawaiin gardens, which i used to visit when @ lbstate, chumash used to have the banker system. chumash since expanded and changed big time though. i'm not a gambler anymore. definitely not a good habit to get into

QUESTIONNNNNNNNNN:

Q. can anyone please explain to me how the commerce casino is allowed to function? thought casinos were only allowed on "indian" reservations?

I think it is because the player does not gamble against the casino at commerce.

In all the games the banker and the player are the players themselves, the players take turn being bankers and the casino takes in a rake for services tendered.

Which of these 3 indian casino are the closest to LA/OC?

Pechanga Casino
San Manuel Casino
Chumash Casino

I notice that those commerce casino don't have regular blackjack. They offer no-bust blackjack majority of the time.

San Manuel is the closest to OC. I believe it is in the city of Highland.

Anyone ever been to Viejas Casino? I drive by there all the time and it looks freakin' nice. I also drive by Golden Acorn which is kinda small.

LA casinos like Commerce, Hollywood Park, Huster, Normandie, Bicycle and Hawaiian Gardens are good places to play poker. Commerce has the biggest poker room in the world! They have almost every game and every limit.

The blackjack is kinda weird because the LA casinos are not allowed to bank so you are playing against each other at the table. There are corporations that hire individuals to sit at the table with alot of money to cover everyone's bet.

The "no-bust" just means that if you bust and the dealer busts higher, you push. There are also jokers in the deck (automatic 21).

If you want Vegas style black jack you must go to Indian Casinos like Chumash (close to Santa Barbara/Solvang), Morongo, Spa and Agua Caliente (close to Palm Springs) or Pechanga, Vejas, Barona, Harrahs and Sycuan (near San Diego).

I suggest you gamble responsibly! I've seen too many of my friends lose everything in their bank accounts and max out all their credit cards just to gamble. These casinos aren't built on winners! Always set limits!
