The guy is a master. I am so glad they let him do another EM.

Is it just me, or can you 'hear' his love for music? It just seems like he really takes his time, and puts in the effort to give you something original and refreshing.

Got my hands on it earlier. I'm not the biggest Howells fan around, but this is so nice and so good.

That's what seperates him from almost every other DJ out there.

Agreed, I've been a huge Howells fan for the past 6 years now. There was a time when I thought he was losing his touch but ever since his Global Underground - Miami compilation he's had me hooked again.

A Dj's Dj.

Thanks for the download Jon.

Love Tong in this too, I think he was just as excited as the rest of us.

I hope the full copy of this set shows up somewhere on the net. His 2002 EM showed up with a few extra minutes, a few extra tracks, and sans Tong, which was a wonderful surprise.

The first exposure that I had to Mr. Howells was at TIL this past summer. It was one the day of my best friends wedding and me and a couple of other grooms men decided to hit TIL afterwards.

Once we got in we were immediately BLOWN away from the massive tracks this guy was dropping and had an awesome time. He played Superlicious by Swoop (The Hacker Remix) and it RUINED us. We were 100% sober, too.

It was one of my friends first time to a party like that and he's been hooked ever since.

Great set. Does anyone know when is he going to be in the area next?

just 17 minutes into it but it already sounds like an instant classic.

typical howells

Posted by Endlesswave on Feb-20-2007 07:44:

The first dj who got me into house tunage and it was only because he dropped a lot of melodic trancier sounding house which fit the Guv main room perfectly. I actually have pics of it with Jon, Nat, a few other ppl (tribers I think) there. Howells is awesome.

that compilation is my fav. GU for sure. that 10 hour set he had at Systems for his GU release party goes down as one of the best sets for me.

Excellent set. One of the best Howells sets I've heard so far.

Yellow Pearl just instantly puts me in a good mood, along with rest of this set. Spreads a very good vibe. Long live Danny Howells.
