Hi!
I found this site because they put a link to my latest mix (without asking me) and I was curious to what kind of site it is. Now I can see that it is some kind of music/trance site but if somebody who knows russian (I guess it is russian) could give me some details about what they wrote next to my mix, I'd be thankful.

The part that u r asking where ur name is mentioned just means that, your mix from march 2002 been added to their mp3 section, i suppose, along with dj montana. U gotta register to check out that section tho, which i didnt do. ANy other quetions?

hmm, i could find webmasters email on the site, but from what i found in the forums the webmasters name is "Yujanin" and only way u can reach him is to register for forums and send him a PM. Good luck

It's a Russian trance site.
They seem to have added your mix to their Downloads section.

It looks like the site doesn't really work yet, because the links at the top are just static. Also, I tried registering there (they seem to require it for downloads) but a script error wouldn't let me register.

thanks for checking, Eugene. But the site must work somehow. I got several downloads in the past 2 days from this site and I don't like it cause I cannot get any feedback from the people who download and I have limited bandwidth on my server...

I downloaded the mix and liked it, so I posted the link (sorry I didn't ask for permission, it dropped out of my head). The thing I wrote: "Dj Dawn got famous on TranceAddict.com with his regular monthly mixes with immaculate mixing and the freshest tracks you can get" and posted the link to your website. My e-mail is [email protected], if you need it.

2 Eugene: the site is in beta-testing phase, and if you got the script error the chances are we were updating some scripts during that time. I checked it right now, and registration works a charm.

Hi Jocker, thanks for your apology. That's very nice what you wrote about my mixes. I would still like you to remove the link from the site, please. The problem is that I can only afford 5 gigs DL per month and that's almost exactly what I'm getting from TA. Also as I said, the people who download the mix from your site will not give me any feedback cause they don't know where, and feedback is very important to me so I can try to further improve my mixes.

Another thing, after you put the link on your site I also got downloads from this site: http://www.nnm.ru/ which is also russian. Do you know anything about it?

you are right about the e-mail info, but time showed me that nobody ever wanted to/dared to contact me over that info. Here in the Amateur forum almost ever second downloader will leave some feedback. But I seriously NEVER got any e-mail from someone who randomly downloaded the mix from AG or somewhere else. So it's not really useful. Maybe I should use the big ID3 v2 "comments" section and out something like "when you downloaded this mix and like it, please send some feedback to: ...."?! nah, i think that's a bit lame....
anyway, I wasn't offended or anything by Jocker's link, it's just that if I'm over 5 gigs a month with the downloads, every further download of my mix costs me over a dollar, and I'm just sharing for fun, I'm not getting anything for it, exceot the good feedback. And that's why I'm interested in only getting "controlled" downloads".
