I dont think it is as simple as that, i think there is sommit that you need to do to the firewall to make it work. Kepp looking at the settings

it works now, i just completley uninstalled ag, deleted the spyware it left behind, ran ad-aware and a couple of registry cleaners and installed it again, but using a version from the site below, aperently its spyware free (will have to check that) and the user interface is slightly improved

Wonderful, so glad u could get on. I have ntl and don't have a problem and I use blackice as a firewall. Me thinx u must have installed a dodgy version.

You may need to forward some ports through your firewall.

Here's the AG FAQ on this problem

http://www.audiogalaxy.com/satellit...q.php?#firewall

If you use ICS (internet connection sharing), you will need to exec this little inf file (won't do your comp any harm)-

agports.inf

Hope this helped

[EDIT]

ah - u fixed it LOL
