Marco Bailey sucks

He used to be my favorite DJ when he was spinning in 2000-2004 ish. now its all electro lame shit.

All his techno tracks from a few years back sound the same.. Dull, uninspired, plus I think all the samples he used throughout that period fit on a single 5.25" floppy.

His early works (the Scorpia EP comes to mind) is decent, but nothing more than that.

Have heard him as a DJ only once, and that was the most horrid set I've ever heard (was a B2B with Christian Smith, so I don't blame it solely on him).. Can't really give a well-argumented opinion on that.

I haven't heard his recent works (mainly due to past experiences), but if he's gone bleepy as well, it probably won't be for the better.

I love his early Bonzai stuff such as Scorpia, Bambu, Sniff etc...

On 12/25/2005, he mixed a techno style set in Germany and he was good, but DJ Murphy just after him was better, with a freakin' hardtrance set.

i saw him bout 2 and a half years ago at global gathering...bangin set with loads of heavy techno but his mixing was terrible...kept blaming the sound system for his mixing which at the time, i gave him the benefit of the doubt

but a couple of weeks after hearing him there i remember i went onto his website and listened to one of his promo sets...it was absolutely dreadful mixing. it always confused me why he would even bother putting a promo set on his website if it was mixed so poorly

i saw him spin with cox in gent and he totally ruined the vibe for a solid 2 hours

like sets i loved were mayday 2003 and 2004, both wicked sets,

some other sets i can't remember, shame.

at least dj rush and dave the drummer are still good.

I feel the same way. He used to be banging, now hes gone the same lame route as many other dj's.

His early stuff like "Dreamswaves", "Place To Heaven", "Sunbeam", "Scorpia", the entire "Planet Goa" album and his work under the name Phutura are absolutely fantastic.

Haven't listened to anything of his post 98 productions since he switched to Techno which I generally don't listen to.
