Preach is calgary on the 16, Edmonton on the 17, Ottawa on the 23rd and Vancouver on the 24th

And i would definitly be happy to see A&B... man that would be so nice to have them at stereo pounding on that sick sound system

BRING ABOVE & BEYOND FOR APRIL TRANSMISSION @ STEREO!!!!!

Preach for BEB - A&B thread hijack

Preach for Tech room, BeB.. we already have Grondin for the House Room.. best local djs for those respective rooms, imo. Best djs at BeB, period.

and they play alllll their productions

if their live set is like their songs, honestly i can do without them, they have good songs but its all the same sound, a little flat

if you are really into soft uplifting then ya

However if u guys like them then hope they come here for u guys!

Its sad that a place like Calgary who is probably 10 steps behind when compared to MTL's scene gets bookings like that. It's even sadder that Ottawa is getting almost better bookings for what it is then MTL, I mean I can pretty much say that almost every bigger dj that will come to MTL will be booked in Ottawa (if my sources are right Armin will be in Ottawa as well).

But yeah its good to know you will see Deep Dish and Armin at BEB every year. I personally really don't care about DJ's as long as the vibe is right, but it does get a little repetitive eventually.

Face it MTL your scene is gone to shits, if it wasn't for your one or two good massives a year i dunno. I have yet to visit Stereo, but I highly doubt it will change my perspective on MTL's scene.

Stay in Ottawa then?

Above and Beyond LOL, the Celine dion's of the trance scene. No one books them here because we don't roll that way and they suck

The is not enough e in the world to make me get down to music that fluffy.

wanna bet?

Posted by mizza318 on Feb-22-2007 21:07:

Its Trance, trance isn't supposed to be hard, and their shit is not fluff, maybe their productions are a little softer but maybe one in each 15 songs they play is their productions. Go to the Above and Beyond review thread and D/L the video from their night at the Guverment.

I have been for the most part, since Marcuz Shultz, Rank 1, Benassi all came to Ottawa after MTL.

OH SNAP

n00b lectures make me laugh.
i hope you go skating on the rideau canal, the tiesto too loud in your earphones for you to hear the ice crack....booom noobnomore.

if above and beyond played any fluffier they would be on the set trying to keep porn stars erections rigid.

THANKS LEGEND I also like your input.
And those noob Tiesto comments man really do you LEGEND TA's have a book full of em and just randomly pick one out each time. I am really counting down the days when I will be able to drop the NOOB BOMB on some one, must feel so good.

But really face the fact, A&B (if I am correct TA's had them ranked as 5th favorite dj's)is probably the best trance act out right there right now with Ali & Fila. Trance for what I know should be uplifting and in a sence fluffy if by fluffy you mean long buildups and such, but I dunno I listen to Trance Around the World every week and its really not that bad, their sets are fun, maybe you should listen to their Anjunabeats Worldwide segment where they play harder stuff maybe that will change your mind about them.

Maybe you should come check out the canal while you can, quite fun I tell you. Maybe I'll take you to a Sens game too lol.

OMG don't act like hands in the air plur is not fun. I fing love doing trance hands add in some lazers. No really at least trance has something to it, fluffy sounds, awesome build ups, lasers, less shirtless juice monkeys, in all honesty trance is a way better musical experience and adventure then house beats are... what do house people do ? they can't even do trance hands, what fun is that ? get on the floor and flex their steroid muscles and talk about how technically awesome a dj is ? maybe.

And yes the Sens fans suck, but its getting better as their true fan base is only starting to create, I can only imagine how good the Sens would be if they had crazy fan, but you can't really blame that on anyone but the idiot who decided to build the arena in bumfuckville (boring suburban Kanata).
