Question Dark influenced trance?

Aloha!
Without any good results Ive looked for dark influenced trance for a long time now. I bet you guys know what im talking about here.. theese evil and dark type of sounds. Hypertraxx, Derb, J00P, DDevils are quite good examples of what im looking for.

Anyone that have a clue of what im looking for?..

Nostrum, especially his earlier works.

Check out Antidote. I would say that they are pretty dark-sounding.

DJ Choose (That Mucho) got some dark stuff, but is more techy than the artist you've mentioned.
Walt is perhaps the closes thing to derb i can think of.
My fav dark hardtrance track must be Methods Of Mayhem - Drunk In Chicago (Hard Mix). If you haven't heard it you better.

I thought the same.

If anyone made convincing dark trance with asian influences, they'd be at the heart of a movement.

Think Deniro - Mind of Man crossed with Lisa Gerrard, for one.

I hope that's ment for Hypertraxx and DDevils, and not Derb, because Derb are highly respected hardtrance prodcuers (Espesially Kai Winter), and has nothing to do with kindergarden

yes, www.area709.com is a great place to find dark yet beautifully
entrancing music. Most of the artists here have a great take on finding
the emotional side of darkness, in all genres. Tons of good tunes all over the
site, enjoy
