He actually has settled down a lot......but he will still party any of us under the table.......the man is a machine!

If I had to choose I actually like Howells better, but I believe that same night is Sander van Doorn which is why I choose neither.

I actually just saw SVD a few weeks ago at Pacha NYC and he was really good BUT...This is WMC and Howells and Lawlers parties are always tradition. I think I'm going to go with Lawler. Howells was really good at Pacha last time he was here but Lawler blew my fucking mind last time he was at Crobar....I mean the whole set was just fucking bananas.......I was in total shock. Plus I wanna check out Twilo.

I have the same problem..my buddy is a Lawler freak but he's never seen Danny and after listening to his EM he kind of wants to go to Danny...I have to some how talk him into it.

I'm goin to Robots @ BED and THen Mishap @ NOcturnal that night.

buuuuuuuuuuuut if I had to choose between those two:

Howells at Pawn Shop last year was just amazing. The music was on point and the venue fit Howell's style to a T. John Digweed & James Zabiela were hanging out, dancing and chatting with fans.. It was fantastic.

I guess it all depends on weather to want a night full of brilliant multiple genre edm or a completely dirty, mind-fuck set.

judging from the danny's recent stellar edition of the essential mix, i would lean his way. lawler of late really doesnt do it for me, miss the more tribal sounds he used to rock a few years back. at any rate i wont be there, the subliminal party is not to be missed.

I'm actually diggin the new Lawler.....the way he has been programming his sets lately is amazing......massive minimal build ups, metal break downs, and a bass lines dropping all over the place. Danny's EM was good but I felt it lacked direction.....there were no peak moments that really blew me away.

they're both good, but imo this is a simple choice.

marathon danny howells any day of the week.

Posted by vtec junkie on Feb-23-2007 13:56:

Fuck it I'm gonna do both......Pawn Shop is a few blocks away from Twilo and you can bet your ass Howells will still be rippin it when Twilo closes.

Wish I was down there for that night. I'd definitely go see Lawler. His party last year was great and Crobar was fantastic this fall too. Plus its at a new venue.

M.A.N.D.Y. / Booka Shade is thursday night (Get Physical Party). I believe we are debating on wednesday night.

I'm torn between Howells and Mishap. Mishap has an all-star line-up, its at a club that i haven't been to, and its $5 cheaper than Howells.

On the other hand, I've caught DH 3 times in orlando over the past few years and every time the guy rocked my face off. I'm leaning more towards Howells.

But Brian, between your 2, I've definitely gotta say Go with Danny Howells. He will not disappoint.
