my hdj1000`s didnt even last a year..and its my second pair.pioneer headphones suck

Let me guess the swivel mechanism? Why didn't they make it stronger? My pair are still going strong ...though my Pio DJM909 looks like it's heading for the service centre pretty soon. When I press the FX tap button on channel one to make a slight adjustment to the BPM, the counter has started jumping to like 700 BPM.

Best get it checked out, hope it's not gonna be too costly

my sony mdrv700's are finally dead... the wiring that goes from the left, corded side to the right cup must be frayed inside because 75% of the time there is no sound on the right... lasted me at least a few years of casual listening, but as soon as I started DJ'ing with them they became unusable due to cracked cans about 6 months afterwards. The wiring went dead just a month ago after I retired them back to casual use.
