I really don't see the point in getting a DC now other than having it for a collectors item. Pretty much all of their good games have been re-released on other systems and are better than they were on the DC. Shenmue is going to XBox, and it's expected that they'll re-release the original on it sometime since Shenmue 2 is coming out soon.

I never really did like the DC that much, when my friend bought his I told him after I played it for the first time "Dude, this is going to fail...I'll give it about a year" and surely enough it did. I'll stick with my PS2 ...no DC game offers as much fun as GTA3 does.

Yeah but there weren't that many games I liked on the DC...lemme see...Soul Calibur (Soul Calibur 2 soon to be released on PS2), Shenmue, Jet Grind Radio, Crazy Taxi (could buy on PS2). I all ready have 3x as many games that I like (and own) for my PS2.

I understand your point, it happens with all systems...once they die out their software/hardware becomes very cheap.

I think DC is still the best system out at the moment...even though its dead. I had so much fun with it...Soul Calibur, Code: Veronica, Metropolis Street Racer, Jet Grind, Shenmue...sure, MSR and JGR got sequels on xbox, but I've played those, and honestly, they suck. They've dumbed them down too much. I love my DC...so many good games on one system...too bad nothing new will ever come out for it again

Oh well, hopefully PS2 or GCN will be good replacements for me...I don't know which one I want more though...both have amazing games coming out.

Talking

I would have to agree with many of the above that the DC,God rest its soul, was quite amazing, despite its death, though no matter how much i loved it i think i have more joy now that sega has moved on to other systems outside their own,now that they are software only, now more and more people can experience the sega genius
