[Psy] Cybernetika - Fading Signal (192kbps)

Hey,
heres a new track and I'd like to know what you think about it.

It's called fading signal, 150 BPM melodic psy.
I've decided to put only a sample online, it has become quite possible that I am going to release this.

Awesome dark-psy atmosphere and the kick is very energetic and driving! A great track, good luck with it!

Takere!

Effects in intro interesting as always.

1:37 and 1:46 or so there are some weird cuts. Are these intentional? They sound very odd and out of place if they are.

Lead at 2:30 is wicked dark. I like the effects atmosphere on it.

2:55, there's the cut again. Are these to prevent illegal use of the song?

Melody at around 6:20 is also cool, especially with that oscillating acid line.

I think instead of a changing bassline at 8:23, you could have had a more prominent pad come in by that point to give the appropriate harmonic backdrop. The changing bassline just threw me off.

Good track. Some really neat hooks in there and a very trancy atmosphere to make it interesting.

Thank you Akia and Jex, glad you like it

Yes, the sudden cuts are just there to prevent illegal use. I might want to release it some day.

Hi.. listening to your track.

Bass works very well.

Nice swirrling effects as usual.

The drive is tremendously good in this one.

Thank god the sudden cuts are there to prevent usage.

2:30.. aah this is nice.. this is my kind of psychedelic trance.. totally driving repetetive, swirrling synths.. small changes..

3:20 Yes its getting better for every bar so far..

3:46 Niiice, niiice.. Astral Projection sounding...

Halfway through the track now.. wonder whats more to come.

5:30 I looove those sounds..

6:30.. Yes my hairs are rising on my back..

7:30 now, awaiting your next move.. the hardest move i might add.

Track breaks down, more melody is added..

Drive continues.. and track is starting to build out..

Best track i have heard from you, truly awesome.. i have nothing to point my finger on.. you will have this signed without any problems.
This is also my kind of psy trance, sounding like Astral, Protoculture, Wizzy Noise.. etc.

10/10

only thing i noticed, were, no sampled vocals

This is perfect... the atmosphere is intense, and the mixing flawless.

That classic Cybernetica rolling bassline is working it's magic. The effects are well varied and planned. The arrengement could be pondered forever, and the rubber squeeling synths are ace.

Now we have melodic psy influence... beautiful filtered synths are melodically enriching.

Piano!!? Wow... that's so cool.

Then we have a nice saw-ish goa lead that's totally owning.

The track doesn't stop there... the rest of the track is like a parade of uberness. We go from a plucky lead, to a sawish one, to a wonderful acid line, to a wobbly effect.

PIANO is back... and the bassline changes... that's too cool. The piano introduces a melody lead that reminds me of IM.

Unbelievably fantastic. All I can say is "Shwa!" Your next big hit -- you've come a long way since your more minimalistic, dark-rave days (I still have the mp3 of "Chaosphere" somewhere).

Sounds like a great track from the short snips of it... Dark and Driving for sure!

Hope to see a release on this for sure.

Hah really? this must have been like 2 years ago. I actually have tried a remake of this track, but nah, my sound has changed too much I guess ... I wonder what we all are producing (if we are still producing) in like 15 years.

Anyways, I'd like to say an extra thanks to you and Subtle for the detailed reviews.

Thanks J:\Digital as well !

reviewing as i listen

00:01/00:24 - nice bassline, i love the synth that sound like its squeezed together

00:25/00:53 - nice background synths.

00:54/01:35 - great flowing beat.

01:36/02:10 - 0mg the piano! fantastically done, especially in a psy tune! i like the way you transformed the piano to a synth. very cool!

02:10/02:33 - again those squeezy synths.. very good.

overall a brilliant tune! try adding some of those dark vocals like Subtle said, to give it that extra "Cybernetika" touch.

9.5/10

I'm impressed after listening to this tune. The piano part adds a really nice touch to the track. I can see why you might want to release this track in the future. Great stuff cybernetica

Cool track, really nicely produced, I like the piano. Not my style of music though, too fast and I aint keen on that kick but thats just personal preferance.

Sounds pretty sweet... this is prolly the best psy tune i ever heard on this boards. The bass line is nice and pumping, suits the full-on ganre well. Great melodies and sounds...really well produced.

Was just wondering, what software did you use to make it? ohh and ill love to give the tune a play at my next gig, maybe i could hand it over to some well known guys in the psy industry here to listen as well... let me know what you think.

Posted by cybernetica on Mar-01-2007 18:54:

Thanks for your replys! Really glad you like it.

Oh, DJ Kreing, you can of course show it off, I still havent got any replys from labels... much appreciated! ... I'll send you a PM.

I am using FL Studio 6, synths used were Discovery, Vanguard and Albino.
