Josh Wink (and NO Loco Dice) Review
god fucking damn it.
loco dice's plane was crazy late and he didn't end up getting there til afterhours, then played in the basement. (i left around 5:30 and he still wasn't here, so i'm assuming he got there around 6 or so.) had a blast even with wink trainwrecking various times throughout his set. luckily i was way too drunk (good times, kristin!! 
) to get too pissed off anyway. then i woke up this morning and realized i'm still in dice withdrawal-- since motherfucking october. 
sonofabitch! the other thing was the lack of TAs and other friends who said they were gonna show up but backed out completely (cuz they're getting old! *coughcough* you know who you are!!!), ppl who were being cheap (billy! fucking lurker..) someone else who was puking all day bc of the flu.. or ppl whose disco nap turned into a rave.

anyway, i drank too much and even tho i'm not hungover, my stomach is like a bottomless carb-devouring pit today. (so i guess i am hungover? 
)

i was pretty drunk last night, but couldn't take wink's boring ass set so i left around 4 am - had a feeling that loco dice wasn't coming anytime soon.....blah

Sorry we didn't make it but I guess it worked out since we wouldn't have waited until 6 to see Loco Dice. Sucks about his plane being late. Where was he coming from? I thought he was living in NYC for the time being. Anyway, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have been able to tolerate more than an hour or so of Wink and would've gotten obliterated just to make something of the evening. We had every intention of going and took a disco nap, which unfortunately turned into a long night's sleep...

I heard the locals killed it
I had a great time on Saturday. Even though people say Josh was boring I definitely saw a ton of people dancing and even cheering at points, but I hung out downstairs for the most part and really enjoyed stadenco's set! We left relatively early, we would have stayed longer had Zack not gotten so tipsy. Thanks Mike for encouraging that lol.

I'm not sure I've seen Zack shitfaced before, but I'm looking forward to seeing it soon.

Thanks to everyone who came out for this and for all the basement DJs for throwing it down!
We had a great time opening in the main room and the basement at the end of night was madness.

wink sucked, shelter is a terrible venue. loco dice spun from 6-8am and he was very good. the locals were real good also, especially joel stadenco. who played some peak progressive house and is becoming a chameleon as a dj depending on the party.
