So they only do this regularly when in captivity. Can't say I blame them, when your choices for a partner are Jason Alexander or Katherine Austen its a no brainer. Even if you are a female koala.

Hehe, right on . Maybe it's just because of you (acutally, it probably is ), but whenever I think of Aussies, an image of potheads chilling at the beach with a giant bong keeps popping up in my head. Part of it has to do with all those post cards of the amazing crystal clear blue shores you guys have there. Ofcourse, you're pretty hyper for a pothead . My brother was there for a semester as a foreign exchange student, and he said you guys are the friendliest most layed back bunch in the world. I forgot what school/city it was.

Fun fact of the day: Koala's spend only a few hours a day awake, eating eucalyptus leaves, which contain compounds believed to be hallucinogenic to the koala (though its possible that some species may contain compounds also hallucinogenic to humans, similar to wormwood and bay leaves/sage type plants).

Same deal with pandas... they love bamboo, because it can often contain hallucinogenic beetles.
