Gas, anyone?

All right... this is getting too ridiculous...

does anyone in East end/Scarboro have any idea which gas stations around here actually HAVE gas?!

they're all out... as in, WTF?!

I get it, strikes, fires, etc... but come on people....

Posted by exstasie on Feb-27-2007 13:22:

thats why you need to be environmentally friendly and should take public transportation!

bzzzt.

wrong answer.

anyway...

(p.s. - environmentally friendly is as far away from reliable and optimal as it gets, so that option is off)

haha...my family owns 2 SUVs! I'm far from energy efficient! I just learned how to turn off the light in my house when I leave...

Sorry bro...I know the gas station near my house in Mississauga has tons of gas, but can't help you out.

Conductors for the CN are off striks as of this morning. Apparently, things SHOULD be returning to normal within a week. If it doesn't...well we can expect absolutely astronomical gas prices.

within a week?

I'm not THAT concerned, cuz my car is dead anyway (engine locked up, totally kaput, in the shop for at least a week), but this city doesn't get gas in the next 48 hours, shit is hitting the fan

should be fun next few days...

crazy serb, to answer your original question... the petro canada at lawrence & kennedy is still open. i just filled up around 11:30 at 97.8. they shut down 3 pumps while i was there so i'm not sure how much longer they'll have gas.
