New softsynths

Hi i've been out of the scene for a while and not had time to produce. I have'nt had a new soft synth for about a year now, so I was just wondering which new ones have come out recently that are good for trance?
I'm not after any sample based synths, just any type that create some nice bass, leads and stuff.

Thanks in advance

well tell us what you were using, or how long you've been out of the loop.

i'm sure whatever you were using is perfectly fine...dont waste your money buying or time trying to dl a cracked copy of some "new" synth unless you feel you are really limited by what you already have.

Octopus, ToxicIII, Dimension, Blue, Komplexer, Zebra2, ZeroVector, Tera3

Software's catching up to hardware VAs these days... it used to be that only z3ta really impessed me when compared to hardware modules, but nowadays there are tons of emerging high quality plugs being put out every day, and the quality of sample-based synths is becoming quite nice as well.

It's definitely getting there.

A new soft synth is NI Massive. I personally think it has maybe the best user interface of a softsynth ever, everything is organized like it should be. But be warned, it has huge CPU load :/

I also like the new Albino 3, it is to me the best synth when it comes to FX and weird FM synths.

lol sorry system101 that's what happends when you post at work in a rush!!

What do you mean by rip off synth?? One of my mates uses Nexus and I really like the sounds out of it. Dont fancy the GUI myself tho.

its a rip off because you have to pay $80 for half decent sound patches.. lol who does that! the VST itself is $300.. AND they offer different color skins for $20... wtf?
