Read This! Sampling advice...

I want to sample a kick off a song and I already know that you need to get it bang on but are there any other tips you could offer me on sampling/ making it sound as if it wasn't sampled?

Regards,
James.

Unfortunately I don't have Sound Forge 8, I do have Audacity though, will that still work anyway?

I totally don't know...I prefer not ripping kicks...

Don't be lazy, just try it...

bring it into your mix - touch up the eq and layer it with another kick to make it your "own" and not blatantly one from the mix ure trying to rip.........
