One Day More: Yearning for a Leap Year

As the end of February quickly approaches, I am suddenly overwhelmed with the deep desire for just one extra day.

I know that 28 is still a lot of days, and that all I have to do is wait until March and I will get 31 days, but haven't you ever wanted just one day more?

Every four years we are spoiled with one day more in February, and now that its not here I am feeling the pinch.

With one day more things could be different.

All those things I've been meaning to do could be taken care of.

In one day more together we could fullfill my wish of having a chicken in every garage in Toronto.

One day more and boots will no longer be made for walking, but prancing boots will be born.

One day more and I will finally graduate past maroon level of swimming lessons.

One day more and there will be a way of knowing what the weather will be like from looking at the lights on top of the Canada Life Tower.

What couldn't we do with one day more?

Tomorrow we'll be far away
Tomorrow is the judgment day.

Tomorrow we'll discover
What our God in heaven has in store.

One more dawn.
One more day.
One day more!

My sis was born on the leap day. So technically, her birthday comes every 4 yrs. I really shouldn't be getting her a birthday gift every yr.

You get robbed of 2 days of use during Feb, but still pay the same amount.

I actually want less days in February. And less days in January and December as well - anything to make the winter go by quicker. 10 days per winter month should be fine. The entire month of December should be a holiday also. That leaves only 20 days of winter to suffer through.
