And our local DJs will always bring me out on the weekends over big names...

So what's wrong with checking out two highly ranked NYC clubs on DJMAG?

At least I'm not getting my information from Z103.

Pawn Shop #9 - fack yes! That kooky place is by far one of the best little clubs ever made. Still want to check out Love with the hamster tunnel though....

Womb #17 - my friends went here for NYE and said it was shit. The sound was crap, the arrangement is shit - it's a dirty rundown thing. The bars inside are each operated by different companies so you have five bars competing for your dough. All in all, disappointing to see this listed in the Top 50.

And that's all I got. Personally, I would have liked to see Vinyl get in there - I love my dark, low-ceilinged bangin' Denver venue!

well deserved imo... the best club i've ever been to

DC10/Ibiza = #6

awesome! this place is like a run down shack in the middle of bumblefuck, but an awesome dirty vibe!

O Man...was in NYC last summer and heard that Stevel Lawler was playing at Cielo...had neevr heard of this club, got direction and found our way to greenwich village, for one of the best club nights of my life...Cielo is a tiny, very sexy house club with a max capacity of 300ppl, to see (and meet) lawler tear it up there I will never forget...check it out if you can

pacha just didn't do it for me when i was there...compared to the vibes and layout of the other clubs in ibiza it's got nothing....it's like comparing sonic to TiL

I agree... I was not overly impressed with Pacha. One bonus.. A water fountain outside of the washrooms.

It is hard to pick a favorite..

My current favorite has to be the Space terrace..

It's an ok club but compared to the parties that Guv used to throw in the old days and the one off nights they throw now there's NO comparison. Man, that "best Guv nights" thread is just AWESOME. Memories.

agreed. pacha was a major disappointment. space is amazing
