(Downtempo 80bpm) Holding Infinity - Let it go

Download Here

sometimes, there are things we better let go...

enjoy...

and yeah there's a story behind the song...but I think I'm not gonna bother you with it...

Im loading. You have arosed our curiosity now so tell us the story!

Posted by BOOsTER on Mar-01-2007 18:54:

I'll better wait for your opinions first...maybe you could try to guess after listening?

Posted by Akia on Mar-01-2007 19:59:

Very mellow and very beauty!

Hmm...I think this is about a moment when you realized that you and another person just hurt eachother, so its better to let it go, before all the good memories are gone.

Nice job! Will you make it longer?

Posted by BOOsTER on Mar-01-2007 20:06:

No...it's just the length it should be, I think...doesn't get repetitive and catches the mood...

Story here...
I've met this girl like 7 years ago...with some of my friends at a pub...back then, we didn't really like each other too much...but over the years we slowly realized that we have similar aims...she's an aspiring journalist...me being a musician...

She was on all of my bigger gigs/parties and I tried to support her in her writing as much as I could.
Her boyfriend...is an idiot...he doesn't totally care about what she likes to do...and shit...you know...I'll never get why she's still with him...but that's a different matter. I mean, we both got connected on this level of art creation...and things like that, and attachment grown like this can't really just be let go.

Thing is...she won't leave her boyfriend, and I'm slowly realizing that...so it'd be better to let go...
but how can I let go a woman who can touch my heart, my mind...think what I think...I mean...she's like...she knows every thought in my head, and I know every thought in hers...

it's hard to give up and let go...

so this is the story behind the song...

not that it's any original though!

I know how it is...

Have you told her openly how you feel? Because I know a lot of frustration can come from the fact that you hold those feelings back from her, that you keep them to yourself.

Anyway, downloading the track now.
Comments to follow..

*edit* Very interesting piece, quite evocative as well. It reminds me of a cold winter night in the forest actually, but it's definitely full of emotion and content. Very nice work!

Thanks TOR,

off course I did, but she said something along the lines that we're not teens anymore and that we shouldn't hurry too much about anything much more serious...

Glad you liked the song.

hey mate reviewing as i listen...
nice simple piano at start.. sounds almost like a real piano.
0:49 the pads jumped in, it does give a nice touch to the song.
1:45 breakdown.. i like the "humming" synth thats at the background.
the track did give me goosebumps while i normally never listen to down tempo music. but this doesnt sounds bad at all. i like the relaxation near the end when the single piano is playing.. good job mate enjoyed it

Bidor.

thanks Bidor, nice to hear from someone who doesn't listen downtempo

Listening.

Wasnt so keen on the first piano, but it sounds better when the bright piano comes in.

But overall a nice piano song.. very relaxing emotional and dreamy.

Nice work.

nice little tune booster...i really like it. i think it conveys your story as well...

Nice piano.
Sounds pretty real.
The bassy notes of the piano sounds kinda messy.
The brighter piano is nice.
I'm missing some kind of bassline over here.
The pads are great.
I think this should progress much more.
Maybe add a beat and a bass after a while? Nevermind this track is too personal for you so I don't think that anything I'll say really matters.

7/10 for the production
10/10 for the concept
