Okay so I clicked on that myspace link to hear the tracks, but then I got distracted by the people in their top 16, so I started to check them out, and follow links. Is that JZ's girlfriend? And that Tom Budden guy looks cool. So finally somehow I ended up on JVM's myspace and left him a comment about New Years. I just now remebered this thread

I got distracted myself and came across this crazy guy: haha!

Tom Budden is the daddy, clovis.. Tom, is hands down one of my favorite djs. He has such a good flow.

That's an interesting tracklist. Can't wait to hear that edit of Soothe - might be the one that Burridge has been caning for some time.

Posted by shaw on Mar-25-2007 02:12:

for as much as people have been ragging on James lately for his productions, I really like the Human edit. A full-length (?) sample is on their myspace page, and I enjoy it quite a bit--especially after the breakdown about 1/3 of the way through.

I fucking hope so. That tune needs to work it's way down the pipes

Edit: Fuck, I've even been waiting for a HQ version of the original/16B/Chicane Acid Ride/Chicane Cyanide Jazz mixes to find their way to internets forever!

Was just reading through the description elsewhere, & noticed this:

The CD will be digipacked and will be foilblocked on the cover & the CD will feature a coded link to be able to download a 3rd CD bonus mix.

Why do they have to be the new Sasha & Digweed? Why cant people just let them be James Zabiela & Nic Fanciulli.

Comparing both duos is absolutely ludicrous as apart from the fact they are both duos, the playing styles are so far apart.

An ALCATRAZ track?!?!

Judging from 1 or 2 quick listenings, their recent essential mix was a little disappointing for me.. it was just a shitload of "electro-house" tracks. Ok fine, I know both of them spin some of that stuff, and a bit of it in a set is fun, but that's not why I like each of the DJs individually..

I'm gonna play that again and see if I start liking it more, lol

Posted by shaw on Apr-04-2007 14:09:

electro-house? err...no.

i wasnt sure whether or not to make a new thread for the One + One mix cd, but I opted to post here since it seems like most people are discussing the CDs here.

I just got finished listening to CD1 and I must say wowwwwwwww Fucking beautiful mix! I enjoy this one about as much as Luke Fair's Balance 011. One+One & Balance 011 will be rockin' my car cd player for a loooooong time. Move yo' waistline, to the bassline!

I didnt mean they're replacing them, i just meant that as a pair of djs coming together they will be remembered for it like s & d are.

Wasnt comparing them to S & D either.

It's not the euro pop group Alcatraz. http://www.discogs.com/artist/Alcatraz

Giv Me Luv was one of the bigger house records of the 90s, and has had a dozen remixes already.
