Avalon Needs To Bring Back This DJ Booth!!!
OMG!!! I had completely forgotten about the old DJ Booth @ The Palace!!!

Ya I remember that! I liked it a lot. Those were the days when the stage wasn't used for "VIP" area.
for real... low booths create a party vibe. high, recessed stages destroy it
My first time at the Palace was for Love Festival Tour (the rave), and the stage was that small and THAT much more fun! I miss it myself!

Originally posted by serch54 I can usually agree, but I've been to some phenominal parties where the DJ was set back on a stage surrounded by lighting. That can be fuckin cool too. I happened to be looking at Ibiza clubs the other night and Amnesia is like that. checkout some youtube vids
Woody for president!
The only spot where I like the high booth is Mayan.

Originally posted by lex400sc well come on, that's ibiza: the land of escapism. the hype surrounding that place alone makes the party. everyone there is on vacation, tore the fuck up and spent a shittonne of money to be where they are so the party is gonna be phenomenal no matter where the dj booth is. avalon la is a far cry from amnesia ibiza and lowering the dj platform would be one of the best things avalon can do to improve things. i doubt it will happen though since they use that stage for other special events. same with ruby skye :\
ICE in Vegas had one of the coolest DJ booths I have ever seen.
DUUUUUDE!!!
seriously... Avalon definately needs to do that for the DJ Booth...
I mean, C'Mon... Look at that... That shit looks SICCKKKKK!!!
keep it low for the DJ's who like it, and than switch it for those who dont!!!
Doesnt sound to hard... I think??

my biggest problem with avalon wasnt so much the crowd but the stage was so high up... i can try my best to ignore the crowd but i can't increase my height no matter how much milk I drink

Originally posted by MR STROKE I have been to Ruby Skye when they have the booth down at floor level and its MUCH better IMO, up on a stage is way to impersonal. 1015's dj booth is THE best around-right at the perfect level not too low not too high.
Dude, that would be so dope! That's one of the reason what makes Circus so great. Better interaction with performers, happier vibes, happier people, better sales.
Yet another reason MNS pwns.
