Bailey's Irish Cream Liquor

How does it taste ? Supposedly a mix of cream + whiskey + chocolate + vanilla Haven't tried this before, but would love to try. Is it easily available in common liquor stores ? How much does it cost ?

Tis lush, and tastes like cream and whiskey, but sweeter than you'd expect. I guess a bit of a hint of vanilla, but deffo no chocolate.

I love the stuff, works great just one ice

I was just quoting wiki. I've been checking it's price...and damn it's an expensive indulgence.

Tastes like melted ice cream. Which can be good when mixed with real ice cream

It's a birds drink. We always used to have a bottle of it left over christmas makes a wicked Breakfast shake when mixed with Milk.

does anyone know of slightly less expensive alternatives available in the US ? From the look of it, the bottle costs in excess of $ 50.

It's also decent with coffee.

And Bailey's Irish Cream is like 15-20 bucks a bottle, not 50.

i guess you could try godiva liquer or starbucks liquer, not by any means irish cream but it's the same creamy consistency, just different flavored. i think you can get a little bottle of irish cream for cheap though. if you've ever had irish cream flavored candy it tastes like that.

Even at a local liquor store you won't see it for more than 25 bucks/liter.

you guys are seriously cock fags.
i bet you like wine spritzers.

Posted by misterpink on Mar-02-2007 17:49:

It's a good drink to have around for sipping over a few ice cubes; the colder it is, the better, especially for those people that don't really like to drink. We use it for toasts at Christmas and family dinners. It goes down much easier than hard drinks, and; therefore, is easier to get everyone to drink it...not good for much else, though.
