Porterhouse Vol. 2 Release March 13

Prog house DJ Steve Porter crams in fifty seven tracks of breaks, house, techno, and trance across two CDs on his latest compilation. 'Porter House Vol. 2' is released in March.

Porter initially made his name spinning ten-minute progressive tracks with epic, sprawling breakdowns but don't expect to find that on his new mix CD. These days he's a little quicker on the mix and looking to bring the party. Latest compilation includes cuts by Slacker, Soul Of Man, Way Out West, Plump DJs, Max Graham and even commercial dance giant Judge Jules. The double CD also includes fourteen of Porter's own productions such as the new remix of his big single 'Definite Form', due for release on his new label PH Recordings in early 2007.

So there's going to be about a minute and a half or so for each track to play.

May I be the first to say, wow that looks shitty.

Don't judge this until you hear it, its incredibly good! Needs to be listened to at loud volumes and in a dark room.

And song lengths range from 22 seconds to 4:55

I'll give it a chance, but I can't think it will sound like anything other than a giant piece of crap.

Porters slide from being one of my favorite jocks to being one of the shittiest I've ever heard really bums me out.

This looks pitiful.

Agreed wholeheartedly. Throwing a bunch of bad house tracks into a megamix has about as much appeal to me as a Louie DeVito mix.

28 tracks? Was he high? Looks pretty megamixish to me
