Review: Steve "Roll 'em out" Porter

This years Steve Porter party at This is London was just like last years...
Started out nearly empty then filled up slightly just in time for his set. Why this guy isn't a bigger draw here in Toronto is beyond me, since his sets at kool haus, then gallery at last years Ultra Spin he has consistently rocked every time he's been here.

There was a noticable pickup his first tune, and a noticable drop off the first one after he left. Not saying that either the people before or after him were bad, but he has done a really good job of making a style that is his and stands out really well.

Relentless would be the appropriate word to describe it.

Wasn't supposed to be there last night, but a few friends asked me to come along so it was nice to run into Steve, Josh, Andrew, Tyler, Lindsay, and Lindsay's friend, Andrea.

Music and vibe was awesome. I haven't been to TiL for a while and I don't remember the decor being that awesome! Very stylish club. I will definitely be back!

it was insane, it was the first time i got goosebumps after a breakdown in a long timee. The whole place went nuts including porter, i wish i had a video of that. It sounded like funky electro tech house.. ah fuck nm lol..
