havent had a pleasure of meeting many Mtl TA's but I can sign under every single word Dave used to describe TOTA's. Thanks for putting this together buddy! sad but true... oh well, dunno if its actually gonna change anything, but... i have nothing to add... he said it all

The more time I spend in TOTA, the harder it is for me to conceal my disdain for a lot of the people here. And that's just because of the stupidity, lol.

You must be too positive and carefree.

Just because you have a bad experience with certain people who post on TOTA, doesn't mean you should be painting all TOTAs with the same brush.

If you have a problem with specific person or a group of people on this board and are posting about it, why don't you step up and say exactly what your problem is, and who it is your talking about? What specifically is so bad about TOTAs? What character flaws do must TOTAs have?

As someone who's been a pretty active member of TOTA for a number of years, I take it personally when stuff like this is posted. What's more, I find it particularly entertaining when people bitch about how much they hate TOTAs, yet read and post on this board on a regular basis.

Although I only recently created a profile and began posting I've been browsing the TOTA forum for over a year now and can say that I havent seen much bullshit go down. For the most part it seems like TOTA's are extremely passionate (and knowledgable) about their EDM music, not to mention friendly and are all here for the same reason. Just because some dude went to Montreal and had a great time with a select number of Montreal TA's does not mean that they are all so amazing.

youve only been here for last then a year if that. and have never even met a ta. what do u know abt this site son

meh. I have met some pretty awesome people from both cities, but I can see where ureadyb is coming from.

Def a bit more drama here, but I am not involved in it so whatever.

I don't think this thread should become all about "TO > Montreal" and visa versa

Dave expressed his thoughts, and that's fine, I don't think he painted anyone with the same brush, AND that he should've come out and point fingers at anyone. After all, he clearly described what kind of people posting here he dislikes, and that's enough, IMHO.

What we need is less unity and less respect. N00bs should have their own section in TOTA and shouldn't be allowed to assimilate until one of the forefathers approves and deems them worthy of joining us. Then when they're finally granted access, they still have to earn our respect and shine our boots.

It should take at least 2 years until n00bs feel comfortable here. I think some of you are getting a little too big for your britches. Gotta pay your dues, bitches.
