Japanese appreciation thread

I dunno why but I am such a whore for Japanese anything. Be it sushi, cars, or even cheezy-ass Naruto - I love it! Just watched Naruto on Youtube - such a beautiful language. they could be cursing me for all I care but it sounds so............. i dunno. complete and just funny and cool at the same time. Plus whenever you see japanese mafia in the movies, even when they spit their lungs out cursing each other it still sounds awesome.

Extra points if they are eating sushi.

p.s Akira is my all time favorite.

it's not so much that they can't pronounce R is it that they cant pronounce L in english words, and they say it like R because their R has a single roll of the tongue when you say it.

They pronounce it fine otherwise, there are a lot of hard R sounds in Japanese.

one day i was walking past some sausage store called Hot Topic. normally i wouldn't take a glance, but i did, and I found a beautiful shirt i bought on the spot.
It had a picture of a little kid with a baseball bat with a caption that wrapped to the back of the shirt. i forgot what it said, something very cynical, but i have since lost the shirt.
one of my friends says its from an anime where a violent kid with a bat exploded out of another normal kid when he gets angry and kills shit.

what is this anime?

Agreed. I don't mind the Japanese, and I don't mind Anime, though it doesn't personally appeal to me, but all the wapanese idiots totally obsessed with both really irritate me.

Haven't seen more than an episode or two but the "bat + kid" thing is blatant.
