Are these shoes "hoish"?

Posted by Sushipunk on Mar-05-2007 02:08:

Depends what you wear them with, I guess?

Posted by Silky Johnson on Mar-05-2007 02:10:

Not if you wear them with the right outfit, which I'm sure you will. So no. I *could* totally picture some trashbag whore wearing them too though.

Posted by Frenchie on Mar-05-2007 02:10:

Hmm nope.

Posted by Lilith on Mar-05-2007 02:13:

They're a bit tacky, wouldn't say they're the cutting edge of skank though
For that they'd have to be pink

Posted by Slylee on Mar-05-2007 02:17:

i actually own a lot of "tacky" boderline hoish shoes, but i know what to wear with them so that they actually look hot and i usually get complimented on them and my outifts.

i guess i was initially like, "omg no they aren't!" but then i realized that i DO own some pretty tacky shoes like that, but that's just my thing. i like to dress up conservative looks with sexy shoes.

these look great with jeans and the right top, trust me.

Posted by Frenchie on Mar-05-2007 02:18:

Are they gold or silver? The way the light hits it it's hard to tell.

Posted by Slylee on Mar-05-2007 02:19:

light gold

Posted by Lilith on Mar-05-2007 02:26:

Yes, I'd sort of have to think fairly seriously what I'd match it with, if you've got some heavy gold or silver jewellery you'd get away with them and wearing anything else really.

I've also been known to have some of the worst taste in shoes so don't take anything I say to heart

Aristronica: look at that bling!
Jamie: whatev
Aristronica: you're blingin!

Jamie: ?
Aristronica: just attach that
Jamie: lol

Aristronica: you should wear them out when i'm down there

The shoes are a-okay.

Only a 3 on the 10-star-skank-o-meter.

Posted by Zoso on Mar-05-2007 02:36:

I would fall to my death in those shoes. However, I am loaded on rum and Foster's.

Are you really sure that whores should be graded with the same symbols hotels are? Well, I guess I can sort of see the connection, but still!

Sorry, but I had $5 in ones, and the Sam Adams sixer was $8.19. So, it was go home happy, or just go home. Nothing like a Foster's "oil can" to get things going right.

Oil can?

Foster's big cans (lol @ pun) were once coined "oil cans," as that is what they supposedly resembled. It's the 25.9 oz. can now, but I'm not sure what size it was back then.

From Wiki: "The distinctive "Oil Can" design was the brainchild of Foster's Group Marketing VP Jack McKimm. Other company higher-ups proposed a jumbo glass bottle, but a demonstration involving an old-timey oil can spout sold them on the idea. The distinctive can design has become synonymous with Foster's Lager."

Well there you go. Learn something new every day.

Ironically though, it would probably taste better to drink actual oil

Nothing says, "I'm here for the party" like carrying around a 25.9 oz. can, baby! That's dedication. Gotta drink fast so they don't get warm.
