8/3 Chicago- Lollapalooza
8/5 Toronto- Arrow Hall
8/7 Montreal- Bell Centre
8/9 NYC- Keyspan Park

Still only rumoured right now but do what we do best...

SPECULATE!!!!

Daft Punk... Bell Center... memories of New Years... GOOD MUSIC... oh man

Posted by ~*Stereohead*~ on Mar-06-2007 23:37:

Uhhhhh I'd pay obscene amounts of cash to see them !!!

Posted by Marcus007 on Mar-06-2007 23:39:

Now there's a ticket that could be worth 50 dollars...

Posted by ~*Stereohead*~ on Mar-06-2007 23:39:

$50.00?!?!?!? That's it?!?!?! AT LEAST!!!

Dude I'd pay 50$ to see Lawler/Digweed/Creamer & K/Zab VS. Fanciulli in a box. Even 100$. But that's cuz I'm exceptionally in love with all their music and the music they play so ya lol...Of course I would.

But Daft Punk @ Bell Center!?!??! I'd pay 80.00$-100.00$ without any trouble...

with the amount of money they cost to book im not surprised it at Bell Center.

shit, that's probably in the 6 digits... $!

Once I ask, just for fun, I much would it take to bring Chemical Brothers, I have been told not even think about it under 6 digits.

I would love to see daft punk again...

muahahhahahaha!!

Last October, we approached Daft Punk's NA manager to see how much we would be looking at to bring them to Montreal and the negociation started at USD$300 000 so you can bet that the ticket will certainly be more then 50$

My spontaneous reaction was: "Ok, let me see what I can come up with and I'll call you back" lollll

But anyways, I'd pay 150$ to see them

Posted by SummerWolf on Mar-07-2007 02:08:

just do like the justin timberlake show at the bell centre...

sell floor tickets at 200$

then sell another kind that gets you even closer to the stage at 500$

plus all the fucking seats in the centre that were between 75$ and 150$

Posted by Circus on Mar-07-2007 02:28:

50$ tickets ?

that's the price to be in line to get your 100$ tickets

Hehe

Daft Punk has had a huge hand in shaping most of the edm Marcus (and the rest of us for that matter) listens to today.

They are HUGE.

ya know... i have been running around the net to find anything that could confirm if its real or not... and it seems to be only one guy that started this... but it is said that few months ago he released such informations about other bands and he was right...

so is it true?

i dont know, but if someone find someone on the net, please provide link

Siiiick! I wonder if they'd actually fill the Bell Center. Do they have that big a following in MTL?

Posted by jouxyz on Mar-07-2007 18:43:

These guys are legends !!

The pretty much were the pioneers of the French Filtered House mouvement.

As mentionned aboved they have contributed a whole lot to what the scene is today.

If you listen to the tracks they produce a decade ago, it still sounds fresh. Marcus's definition of their sound coudn't be more precise !!!

If you look over google videos for their show at Coachella festival, wether you like it or not IT'S A HAPPENING !! So I'm not worried about filling the Bell center, Maybe not the conventional type of show but more like a Massive Party.

This Show would gather nostalgic-olschoolers who have great memories of DP, news schoolers that will probably don't want to miss out on what is probably be their last world tour!

Whatever . .. WE WANT DP in Montreal !!
