just got it today.. like it a lot.. seeing as i always liked this song anyway

its so fucking cool that they are remixing old tunes....

its ok but ferry's mix is definitely the best ever.

ferry's remix is a little to cheesy i think. I dont like the way he made the song all sad. Push just fired up the synth lines on this baby. He also made a great little new melody for it to. PLAT 100x white label promo with Kumara mix.

actually i didn't think it was cheesy at all nor did i thought it was meant to be sad. oh well thats music for ya. there's all types of interpretations. anyway i just like the way how ferry made that breakdown/buildup. it creates this mysterious feeling to the track. IMO that break really puts you into that "journey" that we all talk about.

How long is the Ferry Corsten remix?

sooo true tranceseeker. Push can turn shit into Gold, i always happy with his remixes/productions.

tell you all the truth, i think i like the mixes that came out when the song was first released best. I really do like the push mix a lot though! I wish more djs would drop classic tracks like these, why do you need to remix them to keep them in your record box? I can't think of a crowd out there that wouldn't go nuts to here some of the old "over played" trance classics dropped again.

I saw PVD in the fall and he closed his set with an encore. He dropped 'for an angel' e-works mix. The crowd went fucking NUTS, just fucking NUTS. I don't know why more djs don't play classic shit. I'll admit I was the first to roll my eyes when I heard the o so familiar start to for an angel. I let go of the stupid elitism and just went nuts to it. amazing.

Its something you throw on your bread and then eat it.

I can understand that people say its cheese when a track is dancy-style but plz think twice before saying this.

I love this new remake and also the ferry corsten & Cygnus X remixes of it, I don't think its cheesy in the slightest, it's how trance should be, melodic, easy on the ears and great energy in it, The problem with remixing old tunes is taking away the greatness to it if u fuck up, but IMO push hasn't here, lets hope we get some more top notch classics redone this year too, not the ones that are pointless

Alright, maybe I was going a little too far with calling it cheese. It's weak in my opinion. At least to myself, it is. No one has to agree with me, but yeah, I didn't really like the Ferry mix either, and for your information, I don't consider PUSH cheese, just that particular remix done of that track. In fact, PUSH is one of my favourite trance artists, tracks like "The Legacy" and "Strange World" are fucking unbelievable. I just wasn't impressed with their remix of Madagascar.

Oh, and another thing, I do know what cheese is, and I'm not talking about the kind you eat either.

I looooove it! At first it didn't impress me much. Sounded like the Ferry C remix, but then at 4:25 when he adds that amazing twist to the melody, I fell in love with it. He never lets us down

Very nice remix...i still luv the 'Cygnus X' Remix of it though

I love it, he keeps on making great music

it's OK. Nothing special, Sounds very PUSH-like, which is a good thing, I guess for PUSH fans. I still like the Corsten remix the best.
