Who just got accepted to grad school? ME! That's who!!

So I recieved a message from the University of Windsor yesterday from the grad studies secretary in the Sociology Dept. I was nervous b/c I thought they were gonna tell me I didn't get accepted or I messed up on the application. I called her back today and low and behold...I GOT ACCEPTED TO THE SOCIOLOGY PROGRAM!

I can't even begin to explain what a huge weight that was that was lifted off my shoulders. I totally didn't think I would get in. Just yesterday actually, I was talking to Cale about how I've heard other people say they got accepted, yet I still didn't know! I was trying to think about what I was going to do with my life.

I'm still waiting to hear from the Communications & Social Justice program at the University of Windsor and the U of T for Criminology.

If you get accepted to UofT for criminology which one will you accept? What are the deciding factors?

Again well done, obviously you put a lot of effort into your studies and it paid off.

A maximum of 30 students across the country will be admitted to the M.A. program for 2007-2008. Your last two years of studies must have amounted to at least an A- grade and the Centre must have faculty who can adequately work with you and your subjective research interests.

I have no clue if you already knew all that, but if not there you go .

We'll both hear back near the end of March or April I believe.

Woo! Have fun, its super hard (I am almost done with my masters so I know!) but its also rewarding because you can finally focus specifically on what you like. I know what a weight was lifted, I have been there!! YEY!
