2007.03.31. RICHARD DINSDALE, Simon Jain, Matt Shaw, Jason Myles ++

its a celebration!

Richard Dinsdale

-One of top 5 UK artists of the year in 2006.
-Emerged on several of the worlds biggest labels including Ministry Of Sound, Juicy & Toolroom,
-Released 7 tracks in the UK top 10 last year, including "Pulling Me Under" Number one Underground dance song in 6 different countries.
-Holds resedencies @ some of the hottest clubs in London, including The Cross & Ministry Of Sound in London.
-Currently burning up dancefloors all over the world.
-One of the busiest DJ's @ WMC with 4 back to back shows in 5 days.

personal note:

@ the Erick Morillo party in Toronto in Deceber, Richard stole the show, outshining everyone with an incredible performance of
high octane music & the personality to match

I will be in MTL this weekend - GUTTED

But to all of those who are pondering - you HAVE to go to this event. That line up stole the show from Morillo at the Docks, Richard is pure filth and you all know how our boys play

EDIT: Is Matt Shaw now officially under Nocturnal? Is he? Is he? That could potentially be the best news ever...

I really hope i can make this one, gonna try

Posted by Ni-Cd on Mar-25-2007 22:27:

Definitely gonna hit this party up; Leap's twin sister & husband are coming up--they've never been to an after hours club, or experienced house music... can't wait to post all about their experience! Pre & post interviews to see how they like it. I'm sure their eyes will be totally opened to the world of EDM. Can't wait--and at footwork, one of my fav. venues. w00t!! ... only 6 days away!

Posted by SummerCallin on Mar-27-2007 04:54:

how much cover?

Posted by The Highroller on Mar-27-2007 05:04:

Considering the DJs on the bill and the crowd that will likely be there, I don't know if Footwork is going to be able to handle the madness that this party will generate.

Too bad the music isn't really my thing, and I have a ton of school work to do.

I hear what you are saying and HONESTLY trust me on this one!

if you want to hear some good underground shit (dice + luciano + circo loco styles)

you would LOOOOOOOOOOVE mr. c (gallery this saturday)

Oh my..... I can't miss this.... but WMC has me broke and sick right now.

We'll see what happens

Posted by magikb on Mar-28-2007 04:45:

maybe.. just for something to do this weekend

Posted by Jaineration on Mar-28-2007 17:56:

i hope to see a bunch of you out this saturday...
i can stead fastly assure you that Mr. Dinsdale is not electro.
Super bad ass tech-house is well more appropriate a description...
there is an ample amount of remix/production work out there to show case his sound and style...
his recent addition to the ministry of sound rotation...doesnt hurt either...
my crew will be out in full force, i hope to meet many TA's as well, as im sure we have crossed paths before!!!

Fresh from Miami...we all gots some sick tracks to show off!!!
lol.

not electro...
although electro elements exist in his music,
Richard's signature style is stuck squarely in bass-laden tech-house.
His love of old soul, motown and even early hip-hop keep his tracks
fused with groove and bounce.
Pulling Me Under, Sniffin, and Crunch are all testaments of that.

Citing everything from Curtis Mayfield to Depeche Mode and back, he will be sure keep the boring and lack-of-low end style of electro away from his live sets.

..you know how we do

Getting really hyped for this event; i'm draggin' a bunch of peeps with me. It'll be an awesome party.

Tech-house.... YUMMY.

Simon, can't wait to hear what you brought back from Miami man -- and I have to introduce you to Lea's twin sister; identical twins! Yes, I'm a lucky man.

Ally - any word on the cover? Guestlist?

Hey, I'm not saying he's a bad DJ. You can label it whatever you want, but when I saw him at The Docks it was that electro crunch sound that his been hot for the past 3 years.

Posted by English Rachel on Mar-30-2007 15:33:

I'm a lucky bitch because I get to see Simon and Richard tonight at Opera in Montreal!!

Can't bloody wait!

x
