Where to buy CDs?
What's the cheapest place to buy EDM Cds?
1)from your local Toronto DJ's.
2)amazon
depends what you want to buy, old stuff new stuff?
depends where, online? in a store?
I'm not looking for the newest releases, but my to-buy list mainly consists of stuff released in the last 5 years.
I'm looking to buy Online as that will be the cheaper option right?

Katie does tend to whore thread though
lol
Do you actually want the CD? Cause the cheapest would be just to purchase the entire CD for download via the internet somewhere.

Also, for AWESOME download selection (and burn your own CDs, dammit!

P.S. Most of my last post wasn't specifically directed towards you.
I dont see why you should apologize, just goes to show you totally misunderstood me. I made a mistake of judging your post, i apologized.

| Sorry for trying to be nice. |

i'm not sure if you guys do this, but everytime i go to a cd store (hmv, sam the record man) i always hit up the edm section and lookup my fav artists (chicane, sasha, pvd). what's strange is that i have every single one of their albums, and know their discographies by heart, but i just check anyways. strange no?

amazon is probably the number one choice for purchasing CD's. I've obtained probably a good half from them, and with their free shipping on items ordered through them at a value of over 40$ its pretty nice.
however, if you are purchasing a disc THROUGH them, but not FROM them, they will not offer you that discount on that specific item. older/more rare discs tend to be independent sellers working THROUGH amazon for safety's sake.
CDuniverse.com is also a good site offering a tad differing selection then amazons. this site tends to have more rare discs, but just make sure you dont try and order something that is OUT OF STOCK.
HMV is a double edge sword, they SOMETIMES have what your looking for, and sometimes dont. the beautiful thing about ordering discs not currently on the shelf through HMV isssss... theres no ordering charge. HOWEVER, it can take upwards of 6 weeks to arrive if its comming from across seas {hence my ferry corsten live at innercity disc took 2 months to arrive. but i didnt pay shipping =). and if u DO order something, they're suppose to call you to let you know its in. They dont Always do this, and if u dont get it within 2 weeks, they send it back. so i suggest calling once a week JUST TO CHECK.
And even though u dont see your artist/or/that specific LP on the shelf, it doesnt mean they cant get it. HMV has a HUGE roll call of CD's, just have the guy tell you whats available.
to sum up all that...
if u want the disc ASAP, and dont mind paying for that convience, amazon is pro
if u can afford to wait, and they do just happen to have it, HMV is a safe choice as well.
hope i was of help. im addicted to buying cds.
