Introducing Pitchcontrol - A Dance Music Social Network!

Hey Everyone,

[reposting from the main forum in case people don't check there. I know I really don't. ]

I'm very excited to announce a new web site for you to use to hook up, network, and discuss electronic dance music enthusiasts. Think of it as a MySpace for producers, DJs, & clubbers!

This site will be the hub of activity for a new Electronic Dance Music show that will be debuting shortly in Los Angeles. Along with that show, there will be podcasts, videocasts, and music made available from this site. Interviews, mixes, and EDM tech culture will all be there.

With the Pitchcontrol website, you can do all the things you expect with a profile page (friends, blogs, forum, posting pictures, embed video, send messages, etc.) and more features will be added over the next few weeks (calendar, groups, true page customization, and more).

So, without further ado, please head on over, sign up, and check it out. There are already 40 users signed up (some of you know each other already!).

yep, putting together a new EDM show and I wanted to offer something more immersive for people to get into.

Plus, I love message boards and all, but its hard to get a real feel for people like you can on a MySpace. But the problem with MySpace is that it is too frakin' big (which is good too, I know), but unfocused in a lot of areas. It would be nice to have an area that is filled with people that are into the music like we are.

thanks man! 56 members and growing. That's pretty cool.

I kinda hope it will help give a face to some of us that have a lot of stuff going on and/or just want to provide a bit more personality to our online personas. Especially in an environment totally set up for just EDM.

Thanks for joining! We have another bug fix rollout on Friday of this week which will add a few more features as well. 71 members so far. That's pretty cool considering the show and the full feature set hasn't been rolled out yet.
